[Machine] From his mother, Umm Kulthum bint 'Uqba, who was among the early emigrants, she said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: "The liar is not the one who reconciles between people by saying good things or spreading goodness." And he said once, "and spreads goodness."  

عَنْ أُمِّهِ أُمِّ كُلْثُومٍ بِنْتِ عُقْبَةَ وَكَانَتْ مِنَ الْمُهَاجِرَاتِ الْأُوَلِ قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَيْسَ الْكَذَّابُ مَنْ أَصْلَحَ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ فَقَالَ خَيْرًا أَوْ نَمَى خَيْرًا وَقَالَ مَرَّةً وَنَمَى خَيْرًا  

"One who brings peace between people is not a liar, he says something good, or reports something good." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 1938)   

أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَيْسَ الْكَذَّابُ الَّذِي يُصْلِحُ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ فَيُنْمِي خَيْرًا أَوْ يَقُولُ خَيْرًا»  

[Machine] About his mother, Umm Kulthum bint Uqba, who was one of the early emigrants (to Medina), she said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: 'He who reconciles people is not a liar; he says good or does good.'"  

عَنْ أُمِّهِ أُمِّ كُلْثُومٍ بِنْتِ عُقْبَةَ وَكَانَتْ مِنَ الْمُهَاجِرَاتِ الْأُوَلِ قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَيْسَ بِالْكَاذِبِ مَنْ أَصْلَحَ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ فَقَالَ خَيْرًا أَوْ نَمَى خَيْرًا»  

[Machine] She heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "The liar is not the one who reconciles between people and speaks good or says it."  

أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَيْسَ الْكَذَّابُ الَّذِي يُصْلِحُ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ فَيَنْمِي خَيْرًا أَوْ يَقُولُهُ»  

[Machine] He informed him that his mother was Umm Kulthum bint Uqba, and she was one of the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and she was one of the first emigrant women who swore allegiance to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . She said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'He is not a liar who reconciles between people and says what is good or does good.'"  

أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أُمِّهَ أُمَّ كُلْثُومٍ بِنْتَ عُقْبَةَ وَكَانَتْ مِنْ صَوَاحِبِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَكَانَتْ مِنَ الْمُهَاجِرَاتِ الْأُوَلِ اللَّاتِي بَايَعْنَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَيْسَ بِالْكَذَّابِ الَّذِي يُصْلِحُ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ فَيَنْمِي خَيْرًا أَوْ يَقُولُ خَيْرًا»  

[Machine] They pledged allegiance to the Messenger of Allah pbuh and informed him that they heard the Messenger of Allah pbuh saying, "The person who reconciles between people and speaks good or spreads goodness is not a liar."  

بَايَعْنَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَيْسَ الْكَذَّابُ الَّذِي يُصْلِحُ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ فَيَقُولُ خَيْرًا أَوْ يَنْمِي خَيْرًا»  

That she heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "He who makes peace between the people by inventing good information or saying good things, is not a liar." (Using translation from Bukhārī 2692)  

أَنَّ أُمِّهَ وَهِيَ أُمُّ كُلْثُومٍ بِنْتُ عُقْبَةَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَيْسَ بِالْكَاذِبِ الَّذِي يُصْلِحُ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ فَيَنْمِي خَيْرًا أَوْ يَقُولُ خَيْرًا»
