ذِكْرُ جَوَازِ الصَّلَاةِ لِلْمَرْءِ عَلَى الْمَيِّتِ الْغَائِبِ فِي بَلْدَةٍ أُخْرَى

ibnhibban:3096 – Ḥājib b. Arrakīn > ʿAmr b. ʿAlī al-Fallās > Abū Dāwud > Shuʿbah

"I was in the second row on the day the Messenger of Allah offered the funeral prayer for An-Najashi." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1974)   

ابن حبّان:٣٠٩٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا حَاجِبُ بْنُ أَرَّكِينَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْفَلَّاسُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ شُعْبَةَ يَقُولُ السَّاعَةَ يَخْرُجُ السَّاعَةَ يَخْرُجُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «صَلَّى عَلَى النَّجَاشِيِّ»
