ذِكْرُ مَا يُسْتَحَبُّ لِلْإِمَامِ تَرْكُ الصَّلَاةِ عَلَى الْقَاتِلِ نَفْسَهُ مِنْ أَلَمِ جِرَاحَةٍ أَصَابَتْهُ

ibnhibban:3095 – Muḥammad b. Aḥmad b. Abū ʿAwn > Khalīl b. ʿAmr al-Baghdādī > Sharīk > Simāk > Jābir b. Samurah

[Machine] "That a man had a wound, so he went to a horn he had and took a knife and cut his own throat, and the Prophet ﷺ did not pray for him."

ابن حبّان:٣٠٩٥ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَوْنٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَلِيلُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْبَغْدَادِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ

«أَنَّ رَجُلًا كَانَتْ بِهِ جِرَاحَةٌ فَأَتَى قَرْنًا لَهُ فَأَخَذَ مِشْقَصًا فَذَبَحَ بِهِ نَفْسَهُ فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ»

ذِكْرُ خَبَرٍ قَدْ يَوهِمُ عَالِمًا مِنَ النَّاسِ أَنَّ الْقَاتِلَ نَفْسَهُ غَيْرُ جَائِزٍ الصَّلَاةُ عَلَيْهِ

ibnhibban:3093 – Muḥammad b. Aḥmad b. Abū ʿAwn > Khalīl b. ʿAmr Baghdādī Thiqah > Sharīk > Simāk > Jābir b. Samurah

[Machine] "A man had a wound, so he went to a doctor. The doctor took a scalpel and he accidentally killed himself with it. The Prophet ﷺ did not perform the funeral prayer for him."

ابن حبّان:٣٠٩٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَوْنٍ حَدَّثَنَا خَلِيلُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو بَغْدَادِيٌّ ثِقَةٌ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ

«أَنَّ رَجُلًا كَانَتْ لَهُ جِرَاحَةٌ فَأَتَى قَرْنًا لَهُ فَأَخَذَ مِشْقَصًا فَذَبَحَ بِهِ نَفْسَهُ فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ»

tabarani:1956 – [Chain 1] ʿUbayd b. Ghannām > Abū Bakr b. Abū Shaybah [Chain 2] al-Ḥusayn b. Jaʿfar al-Qattāt > Minjāb b. al-Ḥārith > Sharīk > Simāk > Jābir b. Samurah

[Machine] A man from the companions of the Prophet ﷺ was wounded, and the pain became severe for him. So he took out a knife from his sheath and killed himself. And the Prophet ﷺ did not offer the funeral prayer for him.

الطبراني:١٩٥٦ – حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْقَتَّاتُ ثنا مِنْجَابُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ قَالَا ثنا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ

«أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَصَابَتْهُ جِرَاحٌ فَآلَمَتْ بِهِ فَدَبَّ إِلَى قَرْنٍ لَهُ فِي سَيْفِهِ فَأَخَذَ مِشْقَصًا فَقَتَلَ نَفْسَهُ فَلَمْ يُصَلِّ عَلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ»
