[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, the height of its raised cushions is as vast as the space between the heaven and the earth for a distance of five hundred years.'"

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The roof of my house was opened while I was in Makkah, and Jibril came down and opened my chest and washed it with Zamzam water. Then he brought a golden platter filled with wisdom and faith, and poured it into my chest and closed it. Then he took my hand and ascended with me to the sky. When we reached the first sky, Jibril said to the gatekeeper, 'Open up.' The gatekeeper asked, 'Who is this?' Jibril replied, 'Jibril.' The gatekeeper asked, 'Does he have anyone with him?' Jibril said, 'Yes, he is with me, Muhammad, ﷺ .' The gatekeeper asked, 'Has he been sent for?' Jibril replied, 'Yes, he has been sent for.' So the gate was opened. When we ascended higher to the second sky, Jibril said to the gatekeeper, 'Open up.' The gatekeeper responded the same way as the gatekeeper of the first sky. Anas bin Malik mentioned, "I found Adam, Idris, Jesus, Moses, and Ibrahim in the heavens, and I could not ascertain their positions, except that I found Adam in the nearest heaven and Ibrahim in the sixth heaven." Ibn Shihab and Ibn Hazm narrated that Ibn Abbas and Abu Habibah al-Ansari used to say that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Then I was taken up until I reached a place where I could hear the scratch of pens." Ibn Hazm and Anas bin Malik mentioned that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah obligated fifty prayers on my Ummah, but I kept requesting Him to reduce it until He made it five prayers. However, I felt shy to do more and returned to Allah, so He decreed them as fifty, which would not be changed." Then I returned to Moses, who said, 'Go back to your Lord and ask Him to reduce it further, as your Ummah will not be able to bear it.' I felt ashamed to do so and returned to my Lord. Then Moses asked me again to go back, but I felt too shy to ask Allah for more reduction. I then returned to my Lord and He said, 'It is five and it is still fifty; the words of Allah do not change.' So I returned, and when I mentioned it to Moses, he instructed me to go back again. But I said, 'I have felt too shy from my Lord,' and it was at that time that Allah revealed, 'O Muhammad! There never has been and never will be a change in My Words.'" Then Jibril took me until we reached the Sidrat al-Muntaha (the Lote Tree of the Utmost Boundary), and its leaves covered it with colors I cannot describe. Then I was admitted into Paradise, and I saw houses made of pearls and its soil was musk."

[Machine] He heard Utbah ibn Abdul-Salami saying: "An Arab man stood up in front of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, 'Is there a grapevine in Paradise, O Messenger of Allah?' He replied, 'Yes.' The man asked, 'How big is the cluster of grapes from it?' He replied, 'It is as long as a month's journey for a speckled black crow, and it does not bend or break.' The man asked, 'How big is the grape from it?' He replied, 'Did your father ever slaughter a large male goat from his flock?' The man said, 'Yes.' The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Then he skinned it and gave it to your mother, and he said, "Dye it for us." Then he said, "Weave a bucket for us from it so that we can use it to quench our thirst." The man asked, 'Will that grape satisfy me and my family?' He replied, 'Yes, and it will also satisfy your entire tribe.'"

While I was standing beside the Messenger of Allah ﷺ one of the rabbis of the Jews came and said: Peace be upon you, O Muhammad. I pushed him backwith a push that he was going to fall. Upon this he said: Why do you push me? I said: Why don't you say: O Messenger of Allah? The Jew said: We call him by the name by which he was named by his family. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: My name is Muhammad with which I was named by my family. The Jew said: I have come to ask you (something). The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Should that thing be of any benefit to you, if I tell you that? He (the Jew) said: I will lend my ears to it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ drew a line with the help of the stick that he had with him and then said: Ask (whatever you like). Thereupon the Jew said: Where would the human beings be on the Daywhen the earth would change into another earth and the heavens too (would change into other heavens)? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: They would be in darkness beside the Bridge. He (the Jew) again said: Who amongst people would be the first to cross (this bridge).? He said: They would be the poor amongst the refugees. The Jew said: What would constitute their breakfast when they would enter Paradise? He (the Holy Prophet) replied: A caul of the fish-liver. He (the Jew) said. What would be their food alter this? He (the Holy Prophet) said: A bullockwhich was fed in the different quarters of Paradise would be slaughtered for them. He (the Jew) said: What would be their drink? He (the Holy Prophet) said: They would be given drink from the fountain which is named" Salsabil". He (the Jew) said: I have come to ask you about a thing which no one amongst the people on the earth knows except an apostle or one or two men besides him. He (the Holy Prophet) said: Would it benefit you if I tell you that? He (the Jew) said: I would lend ears to that. He then said: I have come to ask you about the child. He (the Holy Prophet) said: The reproductive substance of man is white and that of woman (i. e. ovum central portion) yellow, and when they have sexual intercourse and the male's substance (chromosomes and genes) prevails upon the female's substance (chromosomes and genes), it is the male child that is created by Allah's Decree, and when the substance of the female prevails upon the substance contributed by the male, a female child is formed by the Decree of Allah. The Jew said: What you have said is true; verily you are an Apostle. He then returned and went away. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: He asked me about such and such things of which I have had no knowledge till Allah gave me that. (Using translation from Muslim 315a)

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , arrived in Medina, and Abdullah bin Salam was under a date palm. So, Abdullah bin Salam went to the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , and said, "I want to ask you about things that only a prophet knows. If you inform me about them, I will believe in you." He asked him about resemblance, the first thing that will gather people, and the first thing the people of Paradise will eat. The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "Gabriel informed me about them in advance." Abdullah bin Salam said, "That is the enemy of the Jews." The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "When a man's water mixes with a woman's water, then the resemblance will be determined. And when a woman's water precedes a man's water, then the resemblance will be determined accordingly. The first thing that will gather people is a fire coming from the east, which will gather the people in the west. And the first thing the people of Paradise will eat is the head of a bull and a fish's liver." Then he said, "O Messenger of Allah, the Jews are a confused people. If they hear about my belief in you, they will speak ill of me and accuse me. I wish that you would send for them." So the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , sent for them, and they came asking, "Who is Abdullah bin Salam?" They said, "Our master, the son of our master, our scholar, the son of our scholar, our best, the son of our best." The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "What would you say if he became Muslim?" They said, "Allah protect us from saying such a thing. He will not do that." The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , then said, "Go out, O Abdullah bin Salam." So he went out to them and said, "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah." They said, "Rather, he is our worst, the son of our worst, our ignorant, the son of our ignorant." Abdullah bin Salam said, "Did I not inform you, O Messenger of Allah, that they are a confused people?"

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "Indeed, in Paradise there is a market that they come to every Friday. In it, there are heaps of musk, and the smell of perfume from the North blows, so they are perfumed or dusted with musk on their faces. They then come to their families, who say to them, 'Indeed, Allah has increased you with beauty and goodness after us.' They say to them, 'You too have been increased by Allah with beauty and goodness after us.'"

"While he was on the Minbar, I heard Al-Mughirah bin Shu'bah saying - and he attributed it to the Prophet ﷺ - 'Indeed Musa [peace be upon him] asked his Lord: "O Lord! Who is the lowest in rank among the people of Paradise?" He said: "A man who comes after the people of Paradise have been admitted to Paradise, and he is told to enter. He says: 'How can I enter when they have gotten all of their abodes, and all that is to be had?'" He said: "So it is said to him: 'Would you accept if you were to have what a king in the world?' He says: 'Yes, O Lord! I accept.' So it is said to him: 'Then for you is this and its like, and its like again, and its like again.' So he says: 'I accept, O Lord!' So it is said to him: 'Then for you is this and ten the like thereof.' So he says: 'I accept, O Lord!' So it is said: 'Indeed you shall have this, and whatever your soul desires, and whatever delights your eyes.'" (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3198)

[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ who said, "Indeed, I know the last person to come out of the Fire. It will be a man who crawls out and he will be told to enter Paradise, so he will enter, then he will come out and say, 'O Lord, everyone has taken their place in the ranks.' It will be said to him, 'Do you remember the time you were in the world?' He will say yes. Then he will be told, 'Wish for something.' So he will wish and it will be said to him, 'You will have something like it, and ten times as much.' He will be the lowest in status among the people of Paradise."

So, Allah will have mercy on them and take them out and they will be in the lowest level of Paradise, being washed in the river of life. Then, the people of Paradise will name them as the Hell-dwellers. Had one of them walked amongst the people of the world, he would have fed them and given them drink. And had one of them married the women of the world, he would have satisfied his desires with them, and he would not have decreased anything from what he had."

[Machine] The people, O Messenger of Allah, asked: "Will we see our Lord on the Day of Resurrection?" The Prophet ﷺ replied, "Do you have any difficulty in seeing the sun when there are no clouds?" They replied, "No, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "Then, do you have any difficulty in seeing the moon on a full moon night when there are no clouds?" They replied, "No, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "Indeed, you will see Him on the Day of Resurrection just as you have no difficulty in seeing the sun and the moon in their clear skies. Allah will gather the people on the Day of Resurrection and say, 'Whoever used to worship something, let him follow it.' So, those who used to worship the sun will follow the sun, and those who used to worship the moon will follow the moon, and those who used to worship idols will follow the idols. Then, the remainder of this Ummah will remain with their hypocrites. Allah will come to them in a form that they will recognize and will say, 'I am your Lord.' They will say, 'We seek refuge with Allah from you. This is our place until our Lord comes to us.' When our Lord comes to them, they will recognize Him and say, 'You are our Lord.' But a bridge will be placed over Hellfire." The Prophet ﷺ said, "I will be the first one to cross it. The invocation of the Messengers on that day will be, 'O Allah, grant safety, grant safety,' and with me will be my followers, resembling the boughs of a tree (or the sa'adān)?" It was asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what is the boughs of a tree (sa'adān)?" He replied, "Do you know the extent of the boughs of a tree?" They said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "It is like that, but Allah Alone knows its real extent. Then, the people will go on being examined and interrogated regarding their deeds. Some of them will be saved by their deeds, while others will be ruined, Many of those who will be ruined will be subject to punishment and thus will be purified (through the fire of Hell), until Allah, the Lord of the worlds, will come to them and ask, 'Whoever said, 'La ilaha illâ Allah' (None has the right to be worshiped but Allah), bring all his good deeds to reward him.' They will come forward with all their good deeds, but the one who will weigh most heavily in the balance, will be his testimony of having said, 'La ilaha illâ Allah.' The person will be saved (from the Hellfire) and laughed at." Allah will then say, "Go and enter the Paradise." The person will keep asking Allah for the fulfillment of his desires, so Allah will remind him and say, "Didn't you assert that you would not ask for anything other than what you have already been given? Woe to you, O son of Adam! How treacherous you were!" The person will then invoke Allah again and again, and Allah will say, "If I give you that, will you then ask for anything else?" The person will say, "No, by Your Majesty! I shall not ask for anything else." Allah will fulfill his desire and let him enter Paradise. The person will be so contented that he will remain quiet and will not stand up (for any need), but Allah will prompt him and say, "Do you want anything else?" Until all his desires and wishes will be fulfilled, then Allah will say, "This is for you, and so is ten times the like of it, and a similar palace, the like of which you have seen." Abu Sa`id (a companion of the Prophet) added, "If you wish, you can recite this verse from the Holy Quran: 'For those who have done good is the best reward and even more.'" (10:26)

[Machine] On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who said: "The last person to enter Paradise will be a man walking on the Sirat (bridge to Paradise). He will stumble once and the fire will scorch him. Every time he passes by it, he will turn to it and say, 'Blessed is the One who saved me from you. By Allah, no one has been given anything like what I have been given among all the worlds.’ Then, a tree will be raised for him, and he will say, 'O Lord, draw me closer to it so that I may take shelter in its shade and drink from its water.’ Allah will say, 'O son of Adam, if I give you that, you will ask Me for something else.’ But the man will swear that he will not ask for anything else, even though he knows that he will. Then, Allah will bring him close to it, and he will take shelter in its shade and drink from its water. Then, another tree will be raised for him, which is even better than the first. He will say, 'O Lord, draw me closer to it so that I may take shelter in its shade and drink from its water.’ Allah will say, 'O son of Adam, if I give you that, you will ask Me for something else.’ But the man will swear that he will not ask for anything else, even though he knows that he will. Then, Allah will bring him close to it, and he will take shelter in its shade and drink from its water. Then, a third tree will be raised for him at the gate of Paradise, which is even better than the first two. He will say, 'O Lord, draw me closer to it so that I may take shelter in its shade and drink from its water.’ Allah will say, 'O son of Adam, if I give you that, you will ask Me for something else.’ But the man will swear that he will not ask for anything else, even though he knows that he will. Then, Allah will bring him close to it, and he will hear the voices of the people of Paradise. He will say, 'O Lord, admit me to Paradise.’ Allah will say, 'O son of Adam, what will make you content with Me and My favor? Would it please you if I give you the entire world and as much again?’ The man will reply, 'Are You making fun of me while You are the Lord of all creation?’ I said, 'Would you not like Me to give you that and as much again?’ The man will say, 'O Lord, I am not making fun of You, but I am asking You for something else.’ The Prophet ﷺ then smiled so broadly that his molars could be seen and he said, 'Do you not wonder at what made me laugh? They asked, 'O Prophet of Allah! What made you laugh?’ He said, 'I laughed because the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said the same as I have said (i.e., the man said the same as I said when he entered Paradise).' "

He said: "So it will be said to him: 'Go to Paradise to enter Paradise.' So he will go to enter, but he will see that the people have taken all the places. He will return and say: 'O Lord! The people have taken all of the places.' So it will be said to him: 'Do you remember the times you used to live in?' And he will say: 'Yes.' So it will be said to him: 'Wish, He will wish for something, and it will be said to him: 'For you is whatever you wished for, and ten times the world.' He will say: 'Do you mock me while you are the King?'" He (Ibn Masud) said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ laugh until his molars were visible." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2595)

[Machine] Did you hear the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying about this verse: "Perhaps those who disbelieve may wish if they had been Muslims"? He said, "Yes, I heard him saying, 'Allah will bring out some of the believers from the Fire after He has taken their revenge from them.' When Allah will admit the believers into Paradise along with the idolaters, the idolaters will say, 'Didn't we keep you away from us in the worldly life? So what is wrong with you that you are with us in the Fire?' When Allah will hear that from them, He will allow intercession for them, and the angels and the prophets will intercede for them until they will come out by Allah's permission. When they will be out, they will be given a name other than their own and they will be called "the people of Hellfire." They will say, 'Our Lord! Remove the punishment from us; we are not criminals.' Allah will say, 'If I remove the punishment from you, you will be replaced by someone else.' Then they will be washed in a river in Paradise, and that will take away the remnants of their past sins."

[Machine] On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said, "When the believers are saved from the Fire, they will be stopped at a bridge between Paradise and Hell. They will seek retribution for injustices that occurred between them in the world. When they are cleansed and purified, they will be granted permission to enter Paradise. By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, no one of them will be left in their dwelling in Paradise without finding and guiding to it their place in the world."

They are inspired to praise and glorify Allah just as they are inspired to breathe. Their food is digestible, and their sweat smells like musk."

These are some of the ahidith which Abu Huraira reported from Messenger of Allah ﷺ and one is this that he is reported to have said: The (members of the) first group that would be admitted to Paradise would have their faces as bright as full moon during the night. They would neither spit nor suffer catarrh, nor void excrement. They would have their utensils and their combs made of gold and silver and the fuel of their braziers would be aloes and their sweat would be musk and every one of them would have two spouses (so beautiful) that the marrow of their shanks would be visible through the flesh. There would be no dissension amongst them and no enmity in their hearts. Their hearts would be like one heart, glorifying Allah morning and evening. (Using translation from Muslim 2834e)

Then those who follow them will be shining with a light brighter than the brightest star in the sky. They will not urinate or defecate, or blow their noses or spit. Their combs will be of gold, their sweat will be musk, their braziers (receptacle for holding live coals for burning incense) will be pearls and their wives will be houris. Their form will be that of a single man, the form of their father Adam, sixty forearm’s length tall.’” Another chain reports the same. (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4333)

“I supplicate Allah to bring you and I together in the marketplace of Paradise,” Sa’eed said: “Is there a marketplace there?” He said: “Yes. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ told me that when the people of Paradise enter it, they will take their places according to their deeds, and they will be given permission for a length of time equivalent to Friday on earth, when they will visit Allah. His Throne will be shown to them and He will appear to them in one of the gardens of Paradise. Chairs of light and chairs of pearls and chairs of rubies and chairs of chrysolite and chairs of gold and chairs of silver will be placed for them. Those who are of a lower status than them, and none of them will be regarded as insignificant, will sit on sandhills of musk and camphor, and they will not feel that those who are sitting on chairs are seated better than them.” Abu Hurairah said: “I said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, will we see our Lord?’ He said: ‘Yes. Do you dispute that you see the sun and the moon on the night when it is full?’ We said: ‘No.’ He said: ‘Likewise, you will not dispute that you see your Lord, the Glorified. There will be no one left in that gathering with whom Allah does not speak face to face, until He will say to a man among you: “Do you not remember, O so-and-so, the day you did such and such?” And He will remind him of some of his sins in this world. He will say: “O Lord, have You not forgiven me?” He will say: “Yes, it is by the vastness of My forgiveness that You have reached the position you are in.” While they are like that, a cloud will cover them from above and will rain down on them perfume the like of whose fragrance they have never smelled before. Then He will say: “Get up and go to the honor that has been prepared for you, and take whatever you desire.” So we will go to a marketplace surrounded by the angels, in which there will be such things as eyes have never seen, ears have never heard and it has not entered the heart of man. Whatever we desire will be carried for us. Nothing will be bought or sold therein. In that marketplace the people of Paradise will meet one another. A man of elevated status will meet those who are of lower status than him, but none shall be regarded as insignificant, and he will be dazzled by the clothes that he sees on him. He will not finish the last of his conversation before better clothes appear on him. That is because no one should be sad there.’” “He said: ‘Then we will go back to our homes where we will be met by our wives, and they will say: ‘Welcome. You have come looking more handsome and with a better fragrance than when you left us.’ And we will say: ‘Today we sat with our Lord, the Compeller, the Glorified, and we deserve to come back as we have come back.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4336)

O, Dwellers of Paradise, and they would say in response: At thy service and pleasure, our Lord, the good is in Thy Hand. He (the Lord) would say: Are you well pleased now? They would say: Why should we not be pleased, O Lord, when Thou hast given us what Thou hast not given to any of Thy creatures? He would, however, say: May I not give you (something) even more excellent than that? And they would say: O Lord, what thing can be more excellent than this? And He would say: I shall cause My pleasure to alight upon you and I shall never be afterwards annoyed with you. (Using translation from Muslim 2829)

We were with the Prophet ﷺ on a full moon night. He looked at the moon and said, "You will certainly see your Lord as you see this moon, and there will be no trouble in seeing Him. So if you can avoid missing (through sleep, business, etc.) a prayer before the rising of the sun (Fajr) and before its setting (ʿAsr) you must do so. He (the Prophet ﷺ ) then recited the following verse: And celebrate the praises Of Your Lord before The rising of the sun And before (its) setting." (50.39) (Using translation from Bukhārī 573)

Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us on the night of the full moon and said, "You will see your Lord on the Day of Resurrection as you see this (full moon) and you will have no difficulty in seeing Him." (Using translation from Bukhārī 7436)

[Machine] "People, O Messenger of Allah, will we see our Lord on the Day of Resurrection?" He said, "Do you have any difficulty in seeing the sun on a clear summer day, when the sky is clear without any clouds?" They said, "No." He said, "In the same way, you will not have any difficulty in seeing your Lord on the Day of Resurrection, just as you have no difficulty in seeing one of them who meets his Lord on the Day of Resurrection. Then Allah, the Most Exalted and Glorious, will say, 'O servant! Did I not create you? Did I not make you able to hear and see? Did I not give you wealth and marry you? Did I not honor you? Did I not give you dominion over horses and camels? Did I not make you the leader and ruler?' The servant will respond, 'Yes, my Lord.' Then Allah will say, 'Then did you not think that you would meet Me?' The servant will say, 'Yes, my Lord. But I thought that you would not recognize me.' Allah will say, 'Today I will forget you just as you forgot Me.' Then the next person will come and Allah will say the same to him. The hypocrite will seek to excuse himself, but he will be seized and sealed. It will be said to his thigh, 'Speak!' and it will speak about his deeds and his bones and nerves will bear witness to what he used to do. Then a caller will call out, 'Will every nation follow what they used to worship?' And the worshipers of the cross will follow the cross, the worshipers of the fire will follow the fire, and the worshipers of idols will follow the idols, and every tyrant will follow their tyranny, until they are all led to Hell. Then the believers, while we are the believers, will come to our Lord, the Blessed and Exalted, and we will be standing. He will say, 'What are these people standing for?' We will say, 'We are the believing servants of Allah. We believed in Him and did not associate anything with Him. This is our place and we will not move from here until our Lord comes to us as our Lord and keeps us firm.' He will say, 'Do you know Him?' We will say, 'Glory be to Him! When He acknowledges us, we will acknowledge Him.' Sufyan (one of the narrators) said, 'Here is a word that I do not say to you.' He (Abu Bakr, who was beside the Prophet ﷺ ) said, 'That (person) is a slave whom no one protects. He knocks at a door, but it is not opened for him, and he enters from the other door.' The Prophet ﷺ wiped his shoulders and said, 'I hope that you will be among them (i.e., the believers).' "

The Hell and the Paradise fell into dispute and the Hell said: I have been dis- tinguished by the proud and the haughty. And the Paradise said: What is the matter with me that the meek and the humble amongst people and the downtrodden and the simple enter me? Thereupon Allah said to the Paradise: You are (the means) of My Mercy whereby I show mercy to those of My servants whom 1 wish, and He said to the Hell: You are (the means) of punishment whereby 1 punish those of My servants whoml wish. Both of you will be full. The Hell will riot be filled up until Allah puts down His foot in it. The Hell would say: Enough, enough, enough, and at that time it will be filled up, all its parts integrated together. (Using translation from Muslim 2846b)

"The Messenger of Allah recited this Verse: 'For those who have done good is the best reward and even more.' Then he said: 'When the people of Paradise enter Paradise, and the people of the Fire enter the Fire, a caller will cry out: "O people of Paradise! You have a covenant with Allah and He wants to fulfill it." They will say: "What is it?" Has Allah not made the Balance (of our good deeds) heavy, and made our faces bright, and admitted us to Paradise and saved us from Hell?" Then the Veil will be lifted and they will look upon Him, and by Allah, Allah will not give them anything that is more beloved to them or delightful, than looking upon Him.'" When we are were sitting with the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) he looked at the moon on the night when it was full, that is, fourteenth, and said : You will see your Lord as you see this (moon) and have no doubts about seeing him. If, therefore, you can keep from being prevented from prayer before the sun rises and before it sets, do so. He then recited :”Celebrate the praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before its setting”. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4729)
