"We were with 'Abdullah bin 'Umar when he was circumambulating the House; a man came up to him and said: 'O Ibn 'Umar, what did you hear the Messenger of Allah say about the Najwa?' He said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'On the Day of Resurrection, the believer will be brought close to his Lord until He will cover him with His screen, then He will make him confess his sins. He will ask him: "Do you confess?" He will say: "O Lord, I confess." This will continue as long as Allah wills, then He will say: "I concealed them for you in the world, and I forgive you for them today." Then he will be given the scroll of his good deeds, or his record, in his right hand. But as for the disbeliever or the hypocrite, (his sins) will be announced before the witnesses.' " (One of the narrators) Khalid said: "At: 'before the witnesses' there is something missing." "These are the ones who lied against their Lord!' No doubt! The curse of Allah is on the wrongdoers." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 183)

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying in a private conversation on the Day of Judgment, "Indeed, Allah will bring the believer close to Him on the Day of Judgment until He places His shield over him, covering him from the people. Then He will say, 'Do you recognize this sin and that sin?' The believer will say, 'Yes, my Lord.' Then He will say, 'Do you recognize this sin and that sin?' The believer will say, 'Yes, my Lord.' Until when Allah has made him acknowledge his sins and he thinks within himself that he has deserved punishment, Allah will say, 'I concealed them for you from the people, and today I forgive them for you.' He will be given a book of good deeds. But as for the disbelievers and hypocrites, the witnesses will say, 'These are the ones who lied about their Lord. May the curse of Allah be upon the wrongdoers.'"

[Machine] On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said, "On the Day of Resurrection, four types of people will argue for themselves. A deaf person will say, 'O Lord, Islam came but I did not hear anything.' An ignorant person will say, 'O Lord, Islam came but the children ridiculed me.' An old person will say, 'O Lord, Islam came but I did not understand.' And a person who died in the period between prophets will say, 'O Lord, no messenger came to me to receive his covenant and obey him.' So, Allah will send a messenger to them and they will be ordered to enter the Fire. By the One in Whose hand is my soul, if they enter it, it will be cool and safe for them.'"

We were in the company of Messenger of Allah ﷺ when he smiled, and said: Do you know why I laughed? We said: Allah and His Messenger, know best. Thereupon he said: It was because (there came to my mind the) talk which the servant would have with his Lord (on the Day of judgment). He would say: My Lord, have you not guaranteed me protection against injustice? He would say: Yes. Then the servant would say: I do not deem valid any witness against me but my own self, and He would say: Well, enough would be the witness of your self against you and that of the two angels who had been appointed to record your deeds. Then the seal would be set upon his mouth and it would be said to his hands and feet to speak and they would speak of his deeds. Then the mouth would be made free to talk, he would say (to the hands and feet): Be away, let there be curse of Allah upon you. It was for your safety that I contended. Do you know who is poor? They (the Companions of the Holy Prophet) said: A poor man amongst us is one who has neither dirham with him nor wealth. He (the Holy Prophet) said: The poor of my Umma would be he who would come on the Day of Resurrection with prayers and fasts and Zakat but (he would find himself bankrupt on that day as he would have exhausted his funds of virtues) since he hurled abuses upon others, brought calumny against others and unlawfully consumed the wealth of others and shed the blood of others and beat others, and his virtues would be credited to the account of one (who suffered at his hand). And if his good deeds fall short to clear the account, then his sins would be entered in (his account) and he would be thrown in the Hell-Fire. (Using translation from Muslim 2581)

Verily, Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, would say on the Day of Resurrection: O son of Adam, I was sick but you did not visit Me. He would say: O my Lord; how could I visit Thee whereas Thou art the Lord of the worlds? Thereupon He would say: Didn't you know that such and such servant of Mine was sick but you did not visit him and were you not aware of this that if you had visited him, you would have found Me by him? O son of Adam, I asked food from you but you did not feed Me. He would say: My Lord, how could I feed Thee whereas Thou art the Lord of the worlds? He said: Didn't you know that such and such servant of Mine asked food from you but you did not feed him, and were you not aware that if you had fed him you would have found him by My side? A man will be brought forth and He ﷺ will say: 'Ask about his small sins and hide his large sins.' So it will be said to him: 'Did you do this and that on such and such a day, did you do this and that on such- and – such a day?'” He said: “Then it will be said to him; 'For each of your sins you shall have a reward.'” He ﷺ said: “So he will say: 'O Lord! [Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said: "People will pass over the bridge of Hell, and on it are hooks, claws, and thorns that snatch the people to the right and left. Beside it are angels saying, 'O Allah, save, save!’ Among the people are those who pass like the wind, some like the galloping horse, some who walk swiftly, some who walk slowly, some who crawl, and some who drag themselves. As for the people of the Fire, they neither die nor live, and people are taken with their sins and transgressions, then they are burned and become charcoal. Then the call for intercession is made, and they are taken like fine particles, and are thrown into a river from the rivers of Paradise, and they grow like a grain in fertile soil." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Have you seen the tamarisk tree that grows in the sand? Among the last to be brought forth from the Fire, a man will fall on its lip and say: 'O Lord, avert my face from it.' Allah will say: 'You have covenants and guarantees from Me, I will not ask you for anything else.' And on the bridge, there are three trees. The person will say: 'O Lord, put me under the shade of this tree, and let me eat its fruit.' Allah will say: 'You have covenants and guarantees from Me, I will not ask you for anything else.' Then the person will see another tree that is nicer than the previous one and say: 'O Lord, put me under the shade of this tree, and let me eat its fruit.' Allah will say: 'You have covenants and guarantees from Me, I will not ask you for anything else.' Then the person will see a tree that is even nicer than the previous one and say: 'O Lord, put me under the shade of this tree, and let me eat its fruit.' Allah will say: 'You have covenants and guarantees from Me, I will not ask you for anything else.' Then the person will see the darkness of the people and hear their conversation. He will say: 'O Lord, enter me into Paradise.’" Abu Nadrah said: Abu Sa'eed and a companion of the Prophet ﷺ differed on this matter. But when we depart from you and socialize with our families and our children, we do not recognize ourselves(i.e., we are changed persons)?' So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'If you were to be in that condition when you depart from me, the angels would have surely visited you in your houses. And if you did not sin, Allah would surely have brought anew creation that they may sin, so that then He may forgive them.'"He said: "I said: 'O Messenger of Allah! From what was the creation created?' He said: 'From water.' We said: 'Paradise, what is it constructed of?' He said,'Bricks of silver and bricks of gold. Its mortar is musk of a strong fragrance, and its pebbles are pearls and rubies, and its earth is saffron. Whoever enters it shall live and shall not suffer, and shall feel joy and shall not die, nor shall their clothes wear out, nor shall their youth come to an end.' Then he said: 'Three persons , their supplication is not rejected: The just ruler, the fasting person when he breaks his fast, and the supplication of the wronged person. It is raised up above the clouds, and the gates of Heaven are opened up for it, and the Lord, Blessed and Exalted says: I shall surely come to your aid, even if after a time.'" Between each level is like the distance between the heavens and the earth. Um (the mother of) Haritha came to Messenger of Allah ﷺ after Haritha had been martyred on the Day (of the battle) of Badr by an arrow thrown by an unknown person. She said, "O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! You know the position of Haritha in my heart (i.e. how dear to me he was), so if he is in Paradise, I will not weep for him, or otherwise, you will see what I will do." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Are you mad? Is there only one Paradise? There are many Paradises, and he is in the highest Paradise of Firdaus." The Prophet added, "A forenoon journey or an after noon journey in Allah's Cause is better than the whole world and whatever is in it; and a place equal to an arrow bow of anyone of you, or a place equal to a foot in Paradise is better than the whole world and whatever is in it; and if one of the women of Paradise looked at the earth, she would fill the whole space between them (the earth and the heaven) with light, and would fill whatever is in between them, with perfume, and the veil of her face is better than the whole world and whatever is in it." ذِكْرُ الْإِخْبَارِ عَنْ عَدَدِ النِّسَاءِ وَالْخَدَمِ اللَّاتِي أَعَدَّهُنَّ اللَّهُ جَلَّ وَعَلَا لِأَقَلَّ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ مَنْزِلَةً
