The Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited Surat Al-A'raf in maghrib and split it between two rak'ahs. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 991)   

الحاكم:٨٦٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ الضَّبِّيُّ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ بأَصْبَهَانَ ثنا مُحَاضِرُ بْنُ الْمُوَرِّعِ ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ «يَقْرَأُ فِي الْمَغْرِبِ بِسُورَةِ الْأَعْرَافِ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ كِلْتَيْهِمَا»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ إِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ فِيهِ إِرْسَالٌ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ بِهَذَا اللَّفْظِ إِنَّمَا اتَّفَقَا عَلَى حَدِيثِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ مَرْوَانَ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ فِي صَلَاةِ الْمَغْرِبِ يُطَوِّلُ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ «وَحَدِيثُ مُحَاضِرٍ هَذَا مُفَسَّرٌ مُلَخَّصٌ وَقَدِ اتَّفَقَا عَلَى الِاحْتِجَاجِ بِمُحَاضِرٍ» فيه انقطاع
