الحاكم:٦٣٨٤ – أَخْبَرَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الثَّقَفِيُّ ثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثَنَا خَلِيفَةُ بْنُ خَيَّاطٍ قَالَ

«وَسَلَمَةُ بْنُ الْأَكْوَعِ يُكَنَّى أَبَا سِنَانٍ تُوُفِّيَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ سَنَةَ أَرْبَعٍ وَسَبْعِينَ»

الطبراني:٥٤٢٦ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنْبَاعِ رَوْحُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ قَالَ

«تُوُفِّيَ سَلَمَةُ بْنُ الْأَكْوَعِ وَيُكْنَى أَبَا إِيَاسٍ وَأَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيُّ سَنَةَ أَرْبَعٍ وَسَبْعِينَ»
