«تُوُفِّيَ عُبَادَةُ بْنُ الصَّامِتِ بِبَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ وَدُفِنَ بِهَا سَنَةَ أَرْبَعٍ وَثَلَاثِينَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ اثْنَتَيْنِ وَسَبْعِينَ سَنَةً»

[Machine] Ubadah ibn Al-Samit died in Sham in the land of Palestine in the town of Al-Ramlah in the thirty-fourth year. He was seventy-two years old.
