[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me on a mission, and when I returned, he said to me, "How do you find yourself?" I said, "I am still as I was, until I thought that those who were with me had turned away from me. By Allah, I do not work on two paths after them."

الحاكم:٥٤٨٨ – حَدَّثَنَاهُ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ بَالَوَيْهِ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ النَّضْرِ ثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ثَنَا زَائِدَةُ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ زِرٍّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْحَطَبِيُّ بِبَغْدَادَ ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ النَّرْسِيُّ ثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ عَنْ عُمَيْرِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْمِقْدَادِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ قَالَ

بَعَثَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَبْعَثًا فَلَمَّا رَجَعْتُ قَالَ لِي «كَيْفَ تَجِدُ نَفْسَكَ؟» قُلْتُ مَا زِلْتُ حَتَّى ظَنَنْتُ أَنَّ مَنْ مَعِي خَوَلًا لِي وَايْمُ اللَّهِ لَا أَعْمَلُ عَلَى رَجُلَيْنِ بَعْدَهُمَا

«هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» صحيح
