الحاكم:٥٠٠٨ – أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْحَافِظُ أَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرٍو عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ قَالَ كَانَ عُمَرُ يُصَابُ بِالْمُصِيبَةِ فَيَقُولُ «أُصَبْتُ بِزَيْدِ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ فَصَبَرْتُ» وَأَبْصَرَ عُمَرُ قَاتِلَ أَخِيهِ زَيْدٍ فَقَالَ

لَهُ «وَيْحَكَ لَقَدْ قَتَلْتَ لِي أَخًا مَا هَبَّتِ الصَّبَا إِلَّا ذَكَرْتُهُ» سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص
