[Machine] "Once, there was a Jewish man who lived in Makkah and engaged in trade there. On the night when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was born, he said in a gathering of Quraysh: 'O people of Quraysh, was a child born among you tonight?' They replied, 'By Allah, we do not know.' He said, 'Allah is the Greatest. If he is born to you, there is no harm. Look and remember what I am saying to you: The Prophet of this last Ummah was born this night. Between his shoulders, there is a sign that looks like parallel lines of hair, as if they are connected. It looks like a mark of a horse that does not suckle for two nights, because a jinn entered his mouth and prevented him from nursing. The people were left astounded by his words and speech. When they returned to their homes, they informed their families, saying, 'Surely Abdullah bin Abd al-Muttalib has been blessed with a boy, and they named him Muhammad.' The people gathered and said, 'Have you heard the story of the Jew? Has news of the birth of this boy reached you?' They then went to the Jew and informed him of the news. He said, 'Come with me so that I may see him.' They went with him until he entered upon Amina, and he said, 'Bring your child out to us.' She brought him out, and they uncovered his back, and he saw the mark. The Jew then fell unconscious. When he woke up, they said to him, 'What is wrong with you?' He said, 'By Allah, Prophethood has departed from the children of Israel. O people of Quraysh, you rejoice with him. By Allah, people will come from the east and the west, and his message will spread among them. On that day, there were people, including Hisham bin Al-Walid bin Al-Mughira, Musa'ab bin Abi 'Amr, 'Ubaydah bin Al-Harith bin Abd al-Muttalib, and 'Utba bin Rabiah, among others from the Quraysh, who were above the age of puberty."

[Machine] He said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The Antichrist will emerge during a period of confusion in religion and ignorance in knowledge. He will have forty nights that are equivalent to one year, one night equivalent to a month, and one night equivalent to a week. The rest of his days will be like your days. He will have a donkey on which he will ride, its ear to its ear measuring forty cubits. He will say to the people, 'I am your Lord,' even though he is blind in one eye. Indeed, your Lord is not one-eyed, and it is written between his eyes that he is a disbeliever (Kafir). Every believer will read it, literate or illiterate. There will not be any water or well left except for the cities of Madinah and Makkah, which Allah has made forbidden for him. The angels will stand guarding their gates, and with him will be mountains of bread. The people will be in great distress, except those who follow him. With him, there will be two rivers. I know which is Paradise and which is Hell. Whoever is entered into the one named Paradise will actually be in Hell, and whoever is entered into the one named Hell will actually be in Paradise." He said, "Allah will send devils with him, who will speak to the people. With him, there will be a great trial. He will command the sky, and it will rain upon the people, and he will kill a person, then bring him back to life before the people's eyes. He will not have control over any people other than his own. He will say, 'O people, why don't you come out to the deceitful liar?' They will say, 'This is a genie man,' and they will set out towards him. Suddenly, they will find themselves with Jesus, the son of Mary. The prayer will be established, and it will be said to him, 'Come forward, O Spirit of Allah.' He will reply, 'Let your Imam come forward and lead you in prayer.' After performing the morning prayer, they will go towards the Antichrist. When the Antichrist sees Jesus, he will start melting like salt in water, and he will try to flee from him. Jesus will pursue and kill him until even a tree or a stone will call out, 'O Spirit of Allah, here is a Jew hiding behind me, so come and kill him.'"

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stayed in Makkah for ten years, following the people in their homes in 'Ukaz and Majinah, and during the seasons in Mina. He would say, "Who will shelter and support me? Who will assist me until I deliver the message of my Lord, and he will be rewarded with Paradise?" So much so that a man would come from Yemen or Egypt, and his people would warn him, saying, "Beware of the young boy from Quraysh who will deceive you." But he would walk among them and they would point at him with their fingers. Until Allah sent someone from Yathrib (Medina) and we offered him shelter and believed in him. The man would return to his people, and they would embrace Islam because of him, to the point that there was not a house in Al-Ansar (the supporters) except there were some Muslims living in it. Then, they all came together and said, "Until when shall we leave the Messenger of Allah ﷺ being expelled in the mountains of Makkah and living in fear?" Seventy men of us left until we reached him in the season. We made an appointment with the tribes of Al-'Aqabah, and met him there, a group of men and a group of women. We said, "O Messenger of Allah! Why don't we give you our pledge?" He replied, "Give me your pledge based on hearing and obeying, in ease and hardship, in wealth and poverty, and to enjoin good and forbid evil. And that you will say in Allah's cause, fear no blame from anyone, and to help me rather than hinder me when I come to you. If you fulfill this, then it will be better for you before Allah." We said, "O Messenger of Allah! Rain on us your guidance." We swear by Allah, we will never abandon this pledge nor take it away. So we gave him our pledge, and he grasped the hand of As'ad bin Zurarah, who was one of the youngest among us, and said, "O people of Yathrib! We have not aimed against and attacked the backs of camels unless we knew that he is the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . And indeed his leaving today means the tribal fragmentation of the entire Arabs and the killing of your best people. And the swords will bite you, whether you are a people who can endure that or a people who fear from yourselves a decline, clarify it, and it will be more excuse for you before Allah." We said, "Remove from us, O As'ad!" By Allah! We will never abandon this pledge nor seize it away. So we gave him our pledge, and he made a condition and gave us Paradise in return.

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his companions continued on the year of the conquest until they reached Marr Al-Zuhra with ten thousand Muslims. Sulaym and Muzaynah were there, and in every tribe there was a number of people who had embraced Islam. The Muhajirun (emigrants) and the Ansar (helpers) were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and none of them stayed behind. The news about the Messenger of Allah ﷺ became unknown to the Quraysh, and they did not receive any information about what he was doing. Abu Sufyan ibn al-Harith and Abdullah ibn Abi Umayyah ibn al-Mughirah met the Messenger of Allah ﷺ at Thaniyyat al-Aqabah on the way from Makkah to Madinah, and they sought permission to enter. Umm Salamah spoke to him and said, "O Messenger of Allah, this is your cousin, the son of your aunt, and your son-in-law." He replied, "I have no need for them. As for my cousin, he has violated my honour, and as for my aunt's son and my son-in-law, he was the one who said to me in Makkah what he said." When the news reached them, Abu Sufyan ibn al-Harith had a son who said, "By Allah, the Messenger of Allah will either give permission for me, or I will take his son by the hand, and we will go away and die of thirst or hunger." When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ heard about this, he sent for them, and they entered upon him. Abu Sufyan began reciting poetry about his Islam and his apology for what had happened in the past. He said, "By your life, on the day I carry a flag, the horses of al-Lat will defeat the horses of Muhammad, even if the dark night lasts long. This is the time for truth to guide and direct me. So tell Ta'if that I do not seek to fight them, and tell Ta'if that I am ready for them, guided by someone other than myself, who has guided me to Allah. I will flee quickly and strive to fight against Muhammad, even if I am not related to him. They are a group of people who do not follow their desires, even if they are intelligent and logical." He continued, "I desire for them to be pleased with me, and I will not leave them until I have been guided in every sitting. I was not in the army that gained victory, nor did my tongue bring any good, nor did my hands touch any tribe that came from distant lands, with arrows and swords. Indeed, the one you expelled and insulted will strive hard to seek revenge, not restrained by custom." When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ heard Abu Sufyan recite poetry about himself, he struck him in the chest and said, "You are the one who expelled and insulted me." Ibn Ishaq mentioned, "The mother of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ died while she was visiting her relatives from the Banu Najjar tribe."

[Machine] The translation is as follows:

"This is the month when the son of Abdullah ibn Abdul Muttalib, Muhammad, the last of the prophets, would leave the sanctuary, migrate to a cluster of palm trees, a valley, and swim. Beware of going ahead of him," Talha said. When he said this, it hit my heart, so I hurriedly left until I reached Makkah. I asked, "Has anything happened?" They said, "Yes, Muhammad ibn Abdullah, the trustworthy, has prophesied, and Ibn Abi Quhafa has followed him." I left until I entered upon Abu Bakr and asked, "Have you followed this man?" He replied, "Yes, so set out to meet him and join him, for he calls to the truth." Talha informed him of what the hermit had said. Abu Bakr came with Talha and entered upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and then Talha accepted Islam and informed the Prophet of what the hermit had said. The Prophet explained it to him. When Abu Bakr and Talha embraced Islam, Nawfal ibn Khuwaylid ibn Al-Adawiyyah took hold of them with one rope, and the sons of Taim did not prevent him. Nawfal ibn Khuwaylid was called Ashadd Quraish (the harshest of the Quraish) because of this incident, and that is why Abu Bakr and Talha were known as Al-Qariniyin (the two Caravan Leaders). Talha did not participate in the Battle of Badr because he was with the Prophet and Sa'id ibn Zaid, spying on the movements of the caravan. When they returned, the Prophet had already finished fighting the polytheists. They met him in a shaded area, Munthah, near the valley of Badr, while he was returning from the battle. However, he witnessed Uhud and other events with the Prophet. He was one of those who stood firm with the Prophet on the Day of Uhud, when the people left him and pledged allegiance to him even until death. Malik ibn Zuhayr threw a spear at the Prophet that day, and Talha protected him with his hand. His little finger was injured, so he said, "Ouch, ouch," when he was struck by the spear. Talha mentioned that the Prophet had said, "If he had said 'Bismillah', he would have entered Paradise while people were watching." On that day, Talha was struck on the head with a severe blow by a polytheist. The blow was delivered twice while Talha was facing him, and one blow while he turned his back. Dhirar ibn Al-Khattab Al-Fihri used to say, 'By Allah, I struck him that day.'"

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stayed in Mecca for seven years, following the people to their homes in Okaz, Majannah, and the seasons in Mina. He would say, "Who will provide shelter and support me until I convey the messages of my Lord?" Even the people from Yemen or Egypt would come to him, and their clans would warn them, saying, "Beware of the boy from Quraysh who may deceive you." He would walk among them as they pointed at him with their fingers. Then Allah sent support from Yathrib and we provided him refuge and believed in him. The man would leave us, and upon returning to his people he would deliver Islam to them, and they would embrace it until there was no house left in the houses of the Ansar without some Muslims living in it, openly practicing Islam. Then we gathered and said, "How long will we let the Prophet ﷺ be expelled and live in fear in the mountains of Mecca?" So seventy of us set out until we reached him during the pilgrimage season, and we pledged allegiance to him at Al-Aqaba. We said, "O Messenger of Allah, for what reason should we pledge allegiance to you?" He said, "Pledge allegiance to me to listen and obey in times of energy or laziness, hardship or ease, to spend in times of difficulty or abundance, to enjoy what is good and forbid what is evil, and to not care about the blame of the blamers, and to support and protect me just as you would protect yourselves, your wives, and your children, and Paradise will be yours." So we stood up and pledged allegiance to him. Sa'd ibn Zurarah, the youngest among us, held his hand and said, "O people of Yathrib, we have not even struck the backs of camels unless we knew that he is the Messenger of Allah, and that his expulsion today is a dispute for all the Arabs, and the killing of your best men, and the swords are about to reach you. So either you endure that and your reward will be with Allah, or you fear for yourselves and show your weakness. Clarify your choice, for it is easier for you." They said, "Remove this doubt, for by Allah, we will never abandon this pledge." So we pledged allegiance to him, and he placed conditions for us to be given Paradise in return.

[Machine] Amr ibn Bukayr ibn Bakkar al-Qa'nabi narrated that Mujashi' ibn Amr narrated to us, who said that Ibn Lahiah narrated on the authority of Abu Qabail, who said that Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-'As informed him that Muadh ibn Jabal informed him, saying, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us with a changed complexion, and he said, 'I am Muhammad, granted the keys of speech and its endings. So obey me as long as I am among you. And when I depart from you, then upon you is the Book of Allah. Make the lawful of it lawful and the unlawful of it unlawful. Death has come to you with the truth. So do not let the shaytan take possession of you. Indeed the meeting place and the resting place of the souls is a book from Allah. There will come to you tribulations, like patches of morning darkness. Whenever one patch goes away, another patch comes. Prophethood will last among you for as long as Allah wills. Then Allah will remove it when He desires. Then there will come the Khilafah upon the Prophetic method.' Allah will have mercy on the one who takes it by its right and leaves it by virtue of His obedience. And he who turns away from it, then Allah will cast him aside just as he turned away. Then he said, 'O Muadh, count!' So I counted until I reached five. He said, 'Yazid, may Allah not bless Yazid.' Then his tears flowed and he said, 'A calamity will befall my grandson Husayn, and his family will be killed in front of him. By the One in whose hand is my soul, he will not be killed except by a people who oppose the command of Allah. They will differ and disagree among themselves.' Then he interlocked his fingers and said, 'Woe unto the offspring of Muhammad from a tyrant ruler, an oppressor, who will destroy the laws of Islam. A man from his family will call upon Allah and his supplication will not be answered. The people will differ among themselves, and it will be as such.' Then he said, 'After one hundred and twenty years, there will be swift death and sudden killing. In it will be their destruction, and a man from the offspring of Abbas will come after them.' [Machine] Years passed by as Quraysh faced difficulties and hardships that weakened their bodies and exhausted their souls. While I lay there, consumed by worries and concerns, a phone call startled me with a loud voice. The caller shouted, "O people of Quraysh, indeed this is the appointed Prophet who has overshadowed you with his days, and his stars are evident. So, let him be embraced with respect and fertility. Look, a man among you, with strong bones and radiant white hair, soft cheeks, and a pleasant scent. Contemplate his attributes, and let him be approached by a man from each tribe. Then, let them touch him with water, perfume him, and circle around the corner. After that, let Abu Qubays be washed and the man be brought in, and let the people believe in him. You are free now, do as you wish. I woke up, trembling with fear, my skin covered in goosebumps, and my mind confused. I shortened my dream and fell asleep in the valleys of Makkah, by the forbidden Haram. No one remained there except the elderly and the women of Quraysh. They rushed towards him from every tribe, touching and circling around the corner. They ascended Abu Qubays and lined up around him. Their pace did not slow down until they reached the top of the mountain. There stood Abd al-Muttalib, and with him was the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , a young boy who was either alive or lifeless. He raised his hands and said, "O Allah, the Protector of companionship, and the Reliever of sorrow, You are the teacher of the untaught and the responsive without stint. These are Your servants, complaining to You about the hardships they face in Your sanctified areas. O Allah, remove their pain, the tiredness, and the hardships from them. O Allah, send upon us a sudden, heavy, and terrifying rain. By the Lord of the Ka'bah, they did not plan until the sky burst open with its water, and the valley overflowed with its streams. I heard two elders of Quraysh, Abdullah bin Jad'an, Harb bin Umayya, and Hisham bin Al-Mughirah saying to Abd al-Muttalib, "Congratulations to you, O Abu Al-Batha'. You have lived to see the people of Al-Batha' thrive." And in that is what Ruqayyah, the daughter of Abu Sufyan, said.

[Machine] Amr bin Bukayr bin Bakkār Al-Qa'nabi narrated to us, Mujashī' bin 'Amr said, both narrated, 'Abdullāh bin Lahī'ah narrated to me from Abī Qabīl who informed me that 'Abdullāh bin 'Amr bin Al-'Ās said that Mu‘ādh bin Jabal informed him saying: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us with a changed complexion and said, 'I am Muhammad, to whom the keys of eloquent speech have been given and the doors of all types of knowledge have been opened for me. Therefore, obey me as long as I remain among you. When I am gone, then you should hold fast to the Book of Allah, for it is a clear light, and follow its guidance. It will not disappear until the Day of Judgment. Beware of darkness and misguidance that may spread like the darkest part of the night. Whenever one Messenger is followed by another, he negates the Prophethood of the previous one, and he becomes a ruler. May Allah have mercy on the one who follows the guidance and takes it by its right path, and beware the one who leaves it as he entered. O Mu'ādh! Learn it well and teach it.' When I reached the age of five, he said, 'Yazīd will come, and may Allah not bless Yazīd.' Then he shed tears and said, 'Husayn will be killed. I have already been informed of his killer. By the One who has my soul in His Hand, Husayn will be killed among a people who will not stop him. They will unrightfully oppose Allah both in their hearts and actions. They will unleash their evildoers upon him and make them a group.' Then he said, 'Woe to the offspring of Muhammad from a ruler who will come after me, a ruler who is living in luxury. He will kill my successors, and his successors will also be killed. Hold tight, O dear Mu'ādh.' When I reached the age of 10, he said, 'Al-Walīd is the name of a Pharaoh-like person who will demolish the teachings of Islam. Before him, there will be a man from my Ahlul-Bayt who will unsheathe his sword by the command of Allah, and no one will be able to stop him. People will differ on this matter, and that is how it will be.' Then the Messenger of Allah intertwined his fingers and said, 'After the age of 120, there will be a swift death and widespread killing. In that, their destruction lies. Woe to them! A man from the progeny of Al-'Abbās will come upon them.'"
