When the Prophet ﷺ entered Mecca his banner was white. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2592)  

الحاكم:٢٥٠٥ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَفَّانَ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ أَنْبَأَ شَرِيكٌ عَنْ عَمَّارٍ الدُّهْنِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ

عَنْ جَابِرٍ رَفَعَهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ كَانَ «لِوَاؤُهُ يَوْمَ دَخَلَ مَكَّةَ أَبْيَضَ»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ «وَشَاهِدُهُ حَدِيثُ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص
