"They were commanded to say the tasbih thirty-three times following the prayer, and to say the tahmid thirty-three times, and to say the takbir thirty-four times, then a man from among the Ansar was told in a dream: 'Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ command you to say the tasbih thirty-three times following the prayer, and to say the tahmid thirty-three times, and to say the takbir thirty-four times?' He said: 'Yes.' 'Instead of that, say each one twenty-five times, and include the tahlil among them.' The next morning he came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and told him about that, and he said: 'Do that.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1350)

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you prays in a single garment, then let him tighten it properly and not cover himself like the Jews do."
that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited ˹doing˺ "sadal" (wrapping garments around oneself and having arms tucked inside during prayer). (Using translation from Aḥmad 8582)
we came to Jabir b. ‘Abd Allah. He said : I (Jabir) accompanied the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in a battle. He got up to pray. I had a sheet of cloth upon me, and I began to cross both the ends, but they did not reach (my shoulders). It had fringes which I turned over and crossed the two ends, and bowed down retaining it with my neck lest it should fall down. Then I came and stood on the left side of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He then took and brought me around him and set me on his right side. Then Ibn Sakhr came and stood on his left side. he then took us with his both hands and made us stand behind him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ began to look at me furtive glances, but I could not understand. When I understood, he hinted at me tie the wrapper. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished the prayer, he said (to me): O Jabir. I said; Yes, Messenger of Allah. He said; if it (the sheet) is wide, cross both its ends (over the shoulders); if it is tight, tie it over your loins. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 634)
"I saw the Prophet when he had completed his seven (circuits of Tawaf); he came to the edge of the Mataf and prayed two Rakahs, with nothing in between him and people who were circumambulating." (Daif) (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2959)
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to pray, and a sheep passed in front of him, so he moved it towards qibla until his belly stuck to qibla.
The Messenger of Allah said: "Cats do not invalidate the prayer, because they are one of the things that are useful in the house." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 369)

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say during one of his prayers, "O Allah, hold me accountable with an easy reckoning." When he finished, I said, "O Messenger of Allah, what is an easy reckoning?" He replied, "It is when one's book is examined, and Allah overlooks some of it for him. Verily, whoever is questioned on the Day of Judgement, O Aisha, will be destroyed. For every affliction that befalls the believer, Allah will expiate his sins, even to the extent that a thorn pricks him."
"Umm Sulaim came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: 'O Messenger of Allah ﷺ, teach me some words that I may supplicate with during my prayer.'
[Machine] He saw Abu Barza al-Aslami praying while holding the reins of his horse. When he went into the bowing position, the reins slipped from his hand and the horse ran off. Abu Barza fell onto his back and did not turn around until he caught the horse and took hold of it. Then he continued walking as he was and came to the place where he had prayed. He completed his prayer and then said, "I have accompanied the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in many battles, even counting the number of expeditions. I have seen his leniency and ease, so I followed that. If I had left my horse until it reached the desert and then walked slowly like an old man, stumbling in darkness, it would have been more difficult for me."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to like to hold the prayer beads in his hand. One day, he entered the mosque with one of them in his hand and saw some debris in the direction of the mosque's Qibla. He cleaned them until they were removed, then he turned to the people angrily and said, "Would any of you like to be faced by a man who spits in his face? When one of you stands up for prayer, he faces his Lord and the angels are on his right, so he should not spit in front of him, nor to his right. Rather, he should spit under his left foot or to his left. If he needs to spit urgently, then he should cover it with a part of his clothing." Some narrations reported some parts to others.

Then he asked me, 'What brings you here today, and where are you coming from?' I informed him, and then I asked him, 'O Abdullah ibn Amr, have you heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'No man from my Ummah drinks alcohol and attains forty mornings of accepted prayers'?"

A man said to him, 'O Messenger of Allah, you forgot and performed Taslim in two Rak'ahs.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded Bilal to establish the prayer and complete that Rak'ah. I asked the people about the man who said, 'O Messenger of Allah, you forgot.' They informed me that I would recognize him if I saw him. Then, a man passed by me, and I said, 'He is the one.' They said, 'He is Talhah bin 'Ubaidullah, and Al-Laith bin Sa'd narrated this hadith from Abi Habib, who narrated it from Yazid as an abridged version while they both met its condition."

[Machine] The translation of the given Arabic phrase into English is: "The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, prayed and then he finished and left, though there remained a unit of prayer (rak'ah)."
The Prophet ﷺ named the two prostrations of forgetfulness disgraceful for the devil. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1025)
Sa'id ibn AbuSa'id al-Maqburi reported on the authority of his father that he saw AbuRafi' the freed slave of the Prophet ﷺ, passing by Hasan ibn Ali (Allah be pleased with them) when he was standing offering his prayer. He had tied the back knot of his hair. AbuRafi' untied it. Hasan turned to him with anger, AbuRafi' said to him: Concentrate on your prayer and do not be angry: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: This is the seat of the devil, referring to the back knot of the hair. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 646)
The Prophet ﷺ used to say between the two prostrations: "O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, guide me, heal me, and provide for me." (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 850)
Anas ibn Hakim ad-Dabbi said that he feared Ziyad or Ibn Ziyad; so he came to Medina and met AbuHurayrah. He attributed his lineage to me and I became a member of his lineage. AbuHurayrah said (to me): O youth, should I not narrate a tradition to you? I said: Why not, may Allah have mercy on you? (Yunus (a narrator) said: I think he narrated it (the tradition) from the Prophet ﷺ:) The first thing about which the people will be called to account out of their actions on the Day of Judgment is prayer. Our Lord, the Exalted, will say to the angels - though He knows better: Look into the prayer of My servant and see whether he has offered it perfectly or imperfectly. If it is perfect, that will be recorded perfect. If it is defective, He will say: See there are some optional prayers offered by My servant. If there are optional prayer to his credit, He will say: Compensate the obligatory prayer by the optional prayer for My servant. Then all the actions will be considered similarly. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 864)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The first thing for which a person will be held accountable on the Day of Judgment is prayer. If it is perfect, it will be written as perfect for him. If it is not complete, Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, will say to His angels, 'Look for any voluntary prayers with which My servant may complete what is lacking from his obligatory prayers.' Then, the same will be done with regards to zakah (obligatory charity) and all other deeds." This wording has been shortened by some of the companions of Hammād ibn Salamah and Musa ibn Ismail al-Hukm in their narration.
[Machine] About a man from the companions of the Prophet ﷺ and about Dawud ibn Abi Hind, he narrated from Zurarah ibn Awfa that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The first thing for which a person will be held accountable on the Day of Judgment is his prayer." And he mentioned the hadith in a similar manner.
[Machine] Regarding the Prophet ﷺ , it was mentioned about him that regarding the narration of Hammad ibn Salamah, so that the contemplator may know that what we have authenticated is the hadith of Dawud ibn Abi Hind, and it does not involve any contradiction with Hammad or the rest of the narrations about it. There are chains of narration from Hammad, other than Dawud, praying upon Muhammad and his family altogether.
The prophet ﷺ used to say when prostrating himself: “O Allah. Forgive me all my sins, small and great, first and last. “ the narrator Ibn al-sarh added: “open and secret.” (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 878)
[Machine] Indeed, the Prophet, peace be upon him, used to say "Glory be to my Lord, the Most High" when he recited "Subhan Rabbi al-A'la" (Glorified is my Lord, the Most High).
I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ praying and a sound came from his breast like the rumbling of a mill owing to weeping. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 904)
[Machine] From the Prophet ﷺ , he said, "There is no deception in prayer or in the greetings." Ahmad ibn Hanbal said from what he saw that he wanted not to give the greeting and to give the greeting to you. The deception of a person in his prayer is to give the greeting while he is doubting in it.
[Machine] "There is no deception in surrender and no prayer."
Abu hurairah said that the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) forbade putting hands on the waist during prayer. Abu Dawud said; The word Ikhtisar means to put one’s hands on one’s waist. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 947)
Hilal ibn Yasaf said: I came to ar-Raqqah (a place in Syria). One of my companions said to me: Do you want to see any of the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ? I said: A good opportunity. So we went to Wabisah. I said to my friend: Let us first see his mode of living. He had a cap with two ears stuck (to his head), and wearing a brown silken robe. He was resting on a staff during prayer. We asked him (about resting on the staff) after salutation; He said: Umm Qays daughter of Mihsan said to me that when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ became aged and the flesh grew increasingly on him, he took a prop at his place of prayer and rested on it. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 948)
I asked ‘A’ishah whether the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited a whole Surah (of the Quran) in one Rak’ah of the prayer. She replied : (He recited from among) the Mufassal surahs. I asked: Did he pray (at night) sitting? She replied : (he prayed sitting) when the people made him old. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 956)
