When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was in I'tikaf, he inclined his head towards me and I combedhis hair, and he did not enter the house but for the natural calls (for relieving himself).
كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا اعْتَكَفَ يُدْنِي إِلَىَّ رَأْسَهُ فَأُرَجِّلُهُ وَكَانَ لاَ يَدْخُلُ الْبَيْتَ إِلاَّ لِحَاجَةِ الإِنْسَانِ
When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ observed I'tikaf, he would put his head near me, and I would comb it. and he entered the house only to fulfill human needs (i.e. to urinate or to relieve himself).
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا اعْتَكَفَ يُدْنِي إِلَىَّ رَأْسَهُ فَأُرَجِّلُهُ وَكَانَ لاَ يَدْخُلُ الْبَيْتَ إِلاَّ لِحَاجَةِ الإِنْسَانِ
"When the Messenger of Allah performed I'tikaf, he would bring his head near me so I could comb it, and he would not enter the house except for some personal needs."
أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا اعْتَكَفَ أَدْنَى إِلَىَّ رَأْسَهُ فَأُرَجِّلُهُ وَكَانَ لاَ يَدْخُلُ الْبَيْتَ إِلاَّ لِحَاجَةِ الإِنْسَانِ
"The Prophet ﷺ would put his head out while he was performing I'tikaf and I would wash it, while I was menstruating."
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُدْنِي إِلَىَّ رَأْسَهُ وَهُوَ مُعْتَكِفٌ فَأَغْسِلُهُ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ

'A'isha, wife of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ observed: When I was (in I'tikaf), I entered the house for the call of nature, and while passing I inquired after the health of the sick (in the. family), and when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was (in I'tikaf), he put out his head towards me, while he himself was in the mosque, and I combed his hair; and he did not enter the house except for the call of nature so long as he was In I'tikaf; and Ibn Rumh stated: As long as they (the Prophet and his wives) were among the observers of I'tikaf. كُنْتُ أُرَجِّلُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَهُوَ مُعْتَكِفٌ وَكَانَلَا يَدْخُلُ الْبَيْتَ إِلَّا لِحَاجَةِ الْإِنْسَانِ
