(the wife of the Prophet) Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to let his head in (the house) while he was in the mosque and I would comb and oil his hair. When in Iʿtikaf he used not to enter the house except for a need.

'A'isha, wife of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ observed: When I was (in I'tikaf), I entered the house for the call of nature, and while passing I inquired after the health of the sick (in the. family), and when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was (in I'tikaf), he put out his head towards me, while he himself was in the mosque, and I combed his hair; and he did not enter the house except for the call of nature so long as he was In I'tikaf; and Ibn Rumh stated: As long as they (the Prophet and his wives) were among the observers of I'tikaf.

Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Urwa ibn az- Zubayr from Amra bint Abd ar-Rahman that A'isha, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ said,"When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did itikaf he would bring his head near to me and I would comb it. He would only go into the house to relieve himself."

[Machine] Narrated Aisha: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to enter my room while he was in the mosque, during his I'tikaf. I would push my head towards him (to indicate that I want to speak to him), and he would lean close towards me. He did not enter the house except for a need.
