The Prophet ﷺ said, "Every child is born with a true faith of Islam (i.e. to worship none but Allah Alone) and his parents convert him to Judaism or Christianity or Magianism, as an animal delivers a perfect baby animal. Do you find it mutilated?"

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ كُلُّ مَوْلُودٍ يُولَدُ عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ فَأَبَوَاهُ يُهَوِّدَانِهِ أَوْ يُنَصِّرَانِهِ أَوْ يُمَجِّسَانِهِ كَمَثَلِ الْبَهِيمَةِ تُنْتَجُ الْبَهِيمَةَ هَلْ تَرَى فِيهَا جَدْعَاءَ

No babe is born but upon Fitra. It is his parents who make him a Jew or a Christian or a Polytheist. A person said: Messenger of Allah, what is your opinion if they were to die before that (before reaching the age of adolescence when they can distinguish between right and wrong)? He said: It is Allah alone Who knows what they would be doing.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَا مِنْ مَوْلُودٍ إِلاَّ يُلِدَ عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ فَأَبَوَاهُ يُهَوِّدَانِهِ وَيُنَصِّرَانِهِ وَيُشَرِّكَانِهِ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَرَأَيْتَ لَوْ مَاتَ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ قَالَ اللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا كَانُوا عَامِلِينَ

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Every child is born on the Fitrah (natural inclination), then his parents make him a Jew, a Christian, or a Magus, just as an animal gives birth to a complete animal. Do you find it mutilated?"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ كُلُّ مَوْلُودٍ يُولَدُ عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ فَأَبَوَاهُ يُهَوِّدَانِهِ أَوْ يُنَصِّرَانِهِ أَوْ يُمَجِّسَانِهِ كَمَا تُنْتَجُ الْبَهِيمَةُ بَهِيمَةً هَلْ تُحِسُّونَ فِيهَا مِنْ جَدْعَاءَ؟

[AI] "Indeed, the Prophet ﷺ said: Every newborn is born upon the natural disposition (fitrah), then his parents make him a Jew or a Christian, just as an animal gives birth to a perfect offspring. Have you noticed any defect in its ears?"

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ كُلُّ مَوْلُودٍ وُلِدَ عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ فَأَبَوَاهُ يُهَوِّدَانِهِ وَيُنَصِّرَانِهِ مِثْلَ الْأَنْعَامِ تُنْتَجُ صِحَاحًا فَيُبَتِّكُونَ آذَانَهَا

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Every child is born in a state of fitrah (natural disposition), but his parents make him Jewish, Christian, or Magian, just as animals produce perfect young animals. Do you see any among them that are born mutilated?"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ كُلُّ مَوْلُودٍ يُولَدُ عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ فَأَبَوَاهُ يُهَوِّدَانِهِ وَيُنَصِّرَانِهِ وَيُمَجِّسَانِهِ كَمَثَلِ الْبَهِيمَةِتُنْتِجُ الْبَهِيمَةَ هَلْ تَكُونُ فِيهَا جَدْعَاءُ؟

[AI] From the Prophet ﷺ who said, "Every child is born upon Fitrah (natural disposition), then his parents make him a Jew, a Christian, or a Zoroastrian."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ كُلُّ مَوْلُودٍ يُولَدُ عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ فَأَبَوَاهُ يُهَوِّدَانِهِ وَيُنَصِّرَانِهِ وَيُشْرِكَانِهِ

No babe is born but upon Fitra. It is his parents who make him a Jew or a Christian or a Polytheist. [AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Every newborn is born upon Fitrah (natural inclination towards goodness), until their tongue expresses it. Once their tongue expresses it, they will either be grateful or ungrateful."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ كُلُّ مَوْلُودٍ يُولَدُ عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ حَتَّى يُعْرِبَ عَنْهُ لِسَانُهُ فَإِذَا أَعْرَبَ عَنْهُ لِسَانُهُ إِمَّا شَاكِرًا وَإِمَّا كَفُورًا

[AI] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he said, "Every newborn is born upon the natural disposition, and then his parents make him Jewish, Christian or Magian."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «كُلُّ مَوْلُودٍ يُولَدُ عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ فَأَبَوَاهُ يُهَوِّدَانِهِ وَيُنَصِّرَانِهِ وَيُمَجِّسَانِهِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Every newborn is born on the Fitrah (pure natural disposition), but his parents make him Jewish, Christian or Magian."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «كُلُّ مَوْلُودٍ يُولَدُ عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ فَأَبَوَاهُ يُهَوِّدَانِهِ أَوْ يُنَصِّرَانِهِ أَوْ يُمَجِّسَانِهِ»

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ كُلُّ مَوْلُودٍ يُولَدُ عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ فَأَبَوَاهُ يُهَوِّدَانِهِ وينصرانه

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ ليس من مولود يولد إلا على الفطرة حتى يبين عليه لسانه فأبواه يهودانه وينصرانه

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Every child is born upon Fitrah (innate goodness), until his language expresses something else. His parents raise him as a Jew or a Christian."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «كُلُّ مَوْلُودٍ يُولَدُ عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ حَتَّى يُعْرِبَ عَنْهُ لِسَانُهُ فَأَبَوَاهُ يُهَوِّدَانِهِ وَيُنَصِّرَانِهِ»

[AI] That the messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Every child is born on the Fitrah (natural inclination towards Islam), then his parents make him Jewish, Christian or Magian." Al-Awza'i said: "They do not remove him from the knowledge of Allah, and they will ultimately return to the knowledge of Allah."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ كُلُّ مَوْلُودٍ يُولَدُ عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ فَأَبَوَاهُ يُهَوِّدَانِهِ وَيُنَصِّرَانِهِ وَيُمَجِّسَانِهِ قَالَ الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ لَا يُخْرِجَانِهِ مِنْ عِلْمِ اللهِ وَإِلَى عِلْمِ اللهِ يَصِيرُونَ

"كُلُّ مَوْلُودٍ يُولَدُ عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ حَتَّى يُعْرِبَ عَنْهُ لِسَانُه، فَأَبَوَاه يُهَوِّدَانِه وَيُنَصِّرَانِه (*) أَوْ يُمَجِّسَانِه".

"كُلُّ مَوْلُودٍ يولد عَلى الْمِلَّةِ، فَأَبَوَاهُ يُهَوِّدَانِه وَيُنَصِّرانِهَ ويُشَرِّكَانِه قِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ الله: لَمَنْ هَلَك قَبْلَ ذَلِك؟ قَال: الله أَعْلَمُ بِمَا كَانُوا فِي (*) الْفِطْرَةِ عَامِلِين".

"كُلُّ مَوْلُودٍ يُولَدُ عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ حَتَّى يُعْرِبَ عَنْهُ لِسَانُه، فَإِذَا عَبَّرَ عَنْهُ لِسَانُه، إِمَّا شَاكِرًا، وَإِمَّا كَفُورًا".
