[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The garment of a believer extends to the middle of his calves, and anything lower than that will be in the Fire."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِزْرَةُ الْمُؤْمِنِ إِلَى عَضَلَةِ سَاقَيْهِ ثُمَّ إِلَى نِصْفِ سَاقَيْهِ ثُمَّ إِلَى كَعْبَيْهِ فَمَا كَانَ أَسْفَلَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ فِي النَّارِ

[AI] Abu Al-Qasim's ﷺ garment for a believer should be from the middle of the calves and downwards to above the ankles. Whatever is below that is in the Fire.

أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ ﷺ إِزْرَةُ الْمُؤْمِنِ مِنْ أَنْصَافِالسَّاقَيْنِ فَأَسْفَلَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ إِلَى مَا فَوْقَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ فَمَا كَانَ أَسْفَلَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ فَفِي النَّارِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The lower garment of the believer should reach halfway down the shin. It is permissible if it reaches the ankles, and anything below the ankles is in the fire (of Hell)."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِزْرَةُ الْمُؤْمَنِ إِلَى نِصْفِ السَّاقِ فَمَا كَانَ إِلَى الْكَعْبِ فَلَا بَأْسَ وَمَا كَانَ تَحْتَ الْكَعْبِ فَفِي النَّارِ

[AI] On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said: "The garment (Izar) should reach halfway down the shin and above the ankles. There is no good in the part of it which is below that."

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْإِزَارُ إِلَى نِصْفِ السَّاقِ وَإِلَى الْكَعْبَيْنِ لَا خَيْرَ فِي أَسْفَلَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The length of the garment should be till halfway of the calf. But when he saw the difficulty of that on the Muslims, he said, 'It should reach till the ankles, there is no good in what is below that.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْإِزَارُ إِلَى نِصْفِ السَّاقِ فَلَمَّا رَأَى شِدَّةَ ذَلِكَ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِينَ قَالَ إِلَى الْكَعْبَيْنِ لَا خَيْرَ فِيمَا أَسْفَلَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ

[AI] It seems that the Prophet Muhammad, ﷺ , said, "The length of the izar (a wrap or garment worn around the waist) should reach halfway down the shins, but it is preferable for it to reach the ankles, as there is no good in anything shorter than that."

كَأَنَّهُ يَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ الْإِزَارُ إِلَى نِصْفِ السَّاقِ فَشَقَّ عَلَيْهِمْ فَقَالَ أَوْ إِلَى الْكَعْبَيْنِ وَلَا خَيْرَ فِي أَسْفَلَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ

Yahya related to me from Malik from al Ala ibn Abd ar-Rahman that his father said, "I asked Abu Said al-Khudri about the lower garment. He said that he would inform me with knowledge and that he had heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'The lower garment of the mumin should reach to the middle of his calves. There is no harm in what is between that and the ankles. What is lower than that is in the Fire. What is lower than that is in the Fire. On the Day of Rising, Allah will not look at a person who trails his lower garment in arrogance.' "

سَأَلْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ عَنِ الإِزَارِ فَقَالَ أَنَا أُخْبِرُكَ بِعِلْمٍ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِزْرَةُ الْمُؤْمِنِ إِلَى أَنْصَافِ سَاقَيْهِ لاَ جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِ فِيمَا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ مَا أَسْفَلَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ فَفِي النَّارِ مَا أَسْفَلَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ فَفِي النَّارِ لاَ يَنْظُرُ اللَّهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِلَى مَنْ جَرَّ إِزَارَهُ بَطَرًا

[AI] On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said, "Whatever is below the ankles from the garment is in the Fire."

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَا تَحْتَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ مِنَ الْإِزَارِ فَفِي النَّارِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The garment of a believer should reach the halfway point of his shins, and anything below that is in the Fire."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِزْرَةُ الْمُؤْمِنِ إِلَى أَنْصَافِ سَاقَيْهِ فَمَا أَسْفَلَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ إِلَى فَوْقِ الْكَعْبَيْنِ فَمَا أَسْفَلَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ فَفِي النَّارِ»

"إِزْرَةُ المؤمنِ إلى نصف السَّاقِ، وليس عليه حرجٌ فيما بينه وبين الكعبين وما أسفل من ذلك ففي النار".

"إِزْرَةُ الْمُؤْمِنِ إلى عَضَلَةِ ساقيه, ثم إلى الكعبينِ فما كان أسفلَ من ذلك ففي النارِ".

"الإِزارُ إِلى نصفِ السَّاقِ أو إِلى الكعبينِ، لا خيرَ في أسفلَ من ذلك" .
