إِسْتَبْرَقٍ لا أَهْوِي بِهَا إِلَى مَكَانٍ إلاَّ طَارَتْ بِي إِلَيْهِ فَقَصَّتْهَا حَفْصَةُ عَلَى النَّبِيّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم فَقَالَ إِنَّ أَخَاكِ رَجُلٌ صَالِحٌ أَوْ إِنَّ عَبد اللَّهِ رَجُلٌ صَالِحٌوَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نَحْفَظُهُ بِهَذَا اللَّفْظِ إلاَّ عَن أَيُّوبَ عَن نافعٍ عَن ابْنِ عُمَرَ
I saw in a dream a piece of silken cloth in my hand, and in whatever direction in Paradise I waved it, it flew, carrying me there. I narrated this (dream) to (my sister) Hafsa and she told it to the Prophet ﷺ who said, (to Hafsa), "Indeed, your brother is a righteous man," or, "Indeed, ʿAbdullah is a righteous man."
كَأَنَّ فِي يَدِي سَرَقَةً مِنْ حَرِيرٍ لاَ أَهْوِي بِهَا إِلَى مَكَانٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ إِلاَّ طَارَتْ بِي إِلَيْهِ فَقَصَصْتُهَا عَلَى حَفْصَةَ فَقَصَّتْهَا حَفْصَةُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ إِنَّ أَخَاكِ رَجُلٌ صَالِحٌ أَوْ قَالَ إِنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ رَجُلٌ صَالِحٌ
"I had a dream in which I saw as if there was a piece of silk in my hand, and I would not gesture to any place in Paradise except that it would fly with me, (taking me) to it. So I told the dream to Hafsah, so she told it to the Prophet ﷺ, so he said: 'Indeed, your brother is a righteous man,' or 'Indeed, 'Abdullah is a righteous man.'"
رَأَيْتُ فِي الْمَنَامِ كَأَنَّمَا بِيَدِي قِطْعَةُ إِسْتَبْرَقٍ وَلاَ أُشِيرُ بِهَا إِلَى مَوْضِعٍ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ إِلاَّ طَارَتْ بِي إِلَيْهِ فَقَصَصْتُهَا عَلَى حَفْصَةَ فَقَصَّتْهَا حَفْصَةُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ إِنَّ أَخَاكِ رَجُلٌ صَالِحٌ أَوْ إِنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ رَجُلٌ صَالِحٌ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ
"I had a dream in which I saw as if there was a piece of silk in my hand, and I would not gesture to any place in Paradise except that it would fly with me, (taking me) to it. So I told the dream to Hafsah, so she told it to the Prophet ﷺ, so he said: 'Indeed, your brother is a righteous man,' or 'Indeed, 'Abdullah is a righteous man.'"
