[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ , the angels prayed upon Adam and glorified him four times. They said, "This is your tradition, O children of Adam." It is also reported by Uthman ibn Sa'd with a continuous chain of narration from Ubayy ibn Ka'b.

البيهقي:٦٩٣٩ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو حَامِدِ بْنُ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الشَّافِعِيُّ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْبَلْخِيُّ ثنا فَضْلُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ السِّمْسَارُ ثنا أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ الْحَدَّادُ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عُتَيٍّ عَنْ أُبَيٍّ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ صَلَّتِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ عَلَى آدَمَ فَكَبَّرَتْ عَلَيْهِ أَرْبَعًا وَقَالَتْ هَذِهِ سُنَّتُكُمْ يَا بَنِي آدَمَ وَقِيلَ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ بِإِسْنَادِهِ مَوْقُوفًا عَلَى أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ
