البيهقي:١٢٤١٤ – وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ أنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أنا جَرِيرٌ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ طَارِقِ بْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ أَخَذَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ كَتِفًا وَجَمَعَ أَصْحَابَ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ لِيَكْتُبَ الْجَدَّ وَهُمْ يَرَوْنَ أَنْ يَجْعَلَهُ أَبًا فَخَرَجَتْ عَلَيْهِ حَيَّةٌ فَتَفَرَّقُوا فَقَالَ لَوْ أَنَّ اللهَ أَرَادَ

أَنْ يُمْضِيَهُ لَأَمْضَاهُ
