[Machine] The Prophet, may ﷺ , gave them one-sixth. I met some of the children of the man who was given one-sixth for his brothers, and they said that it was a testament for them.  

البيهقي:١٢٢٩٨ – أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو أنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَا ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أنا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ فِي السُّدُسِ الَّذِي حَجَبَهُ الْإِخْوَةُ أُمَّهُ هُوَ لِلْإِخْوَةِ وَلَا يَكُونُ لِلْأَبِ إِنَّمَا نُقِصَتْهُ الْأُمُّ لِيَكُونَ لِلْإِخْوَةِ قَالَ ابْنُ طَاوُسٍ وَبَلَغَنِي

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَعْطَاهُمُ السُّدُسَ فَلَقِيتُ بَعْضَ وَلَدِ ذَلِكَ الرَّجُلِ الَّذِي أُعْطِيَ إِخْوَتُهُ السُّدُسَ فَقَالَ بَلَغَنَا أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ وَصِيَّةً لَهُمْ
