[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pawned a shield to Abu Al-Shahm the Jew, a man from the Banu Dhafar tribe, in exchange for a quantity of grain, which is currently cut off, and before that was sufficient.  

البيهقي:١١١٩٦وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ أنبأ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ وَغَيْرُهُ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ رَهَنَ دِرْعًا لَهُ عِنْدَ أَبِي الشَّحْمِ الْيَهُودِيِّ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي ظَفَرٍ فِي شَعِيرٍ هَذَا مُنْقَطِعٌ وَفِيمَا قَبْلَهُ كِفَايَةٌ
