ahmad:7018ʿAlī b. ʿĀṣim > Dūwayd al-Khurāsānī And al-Zzubayr b. ʿAdī Qāʿid Maʿah > ʿAmr b. Shuʿayb from his father from his grandfather

[Machine] I said, "O Messenger of Allah, we hear from you some narrations that we do not memorize, so should we not write them down?" He said, "Yes, indeed, write them down."  

أحمد:٧٠١٨حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ أَخْبَرَنَا دُوَيْدٌ الْخُرَاسَانِيُّ وَالزُّبَيْرُ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ قَاعِدٌ مَعَهُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ

قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّا نَسْمَعُ مِنْكَ أَحَادِيثَ لَا نَحْفَظُهَا أَفَلَا نَكْتُبُهَا؟ قَالَ بَلَى فَاكْتُبُوهَا
