[Machine] I told Ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited drinking wine. He said, "They have indeed claimed that."

أحمد:٥٤٢٣ – حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ

قُلْتُ لِابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ نَبِيذِ الْجَرِّ قَالَ قَدْ زَعَمُوا ذَلِكَ

I said to Ibn 'Umar that Messenger of Allah ﷺ had forbidden the preparation of Nabidh in the green pitcher (besmeared with pitch). He said: This is what they stated. I said: Did Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbid this? He said: They said so.

مسلم:١٩٩٧e – وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ

قُلْتُ لاِبْنِ عُمَرَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْ نَبِيذِ الْجَرِّ قَالَ فَقَالَ قَدْ زَعَمُوا ذَاكَ قُلْتُ أَنَهَى عَنْهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ قَدْ زَعَمُوا ذَاكَ
