[Machine] About wine, he said, "It is forbidden." So, I asked, "Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibit it?" Ibn Umar replied, "They claim that he did."

أحمد:٤٩١٥ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ

عَنْ نَبِيذِ الْجَرِّ فَقَالَ حَرَامٌ فَقُلْتُ أَنَهَى عَنْهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ؟ فَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ يَزْعُمُونَ ذَلِكَ

[Machine] I told Ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited drinking wine. He said, "They have indeed claimed that."

أحمد:٥٤٢٣ – حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ

قُلْتُ لِابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ نَبِيذِ الْجَرِّ قَالَ قَدْ زَعَمُوا ذَلِكَ
