The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited anyone taking two dates together with the exception that you ask permission from your companions. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3834)  

أحمد:٤٥١٣ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ حَدَّثَنَا الشَّيْبَانِيُّ عَنْ جَبَلَةَ بْنِ سُحَيْمٍعَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْإِقْرَانِ إِلَّا أَنْ تَسْتَأْذِنَ أَصْحَابَكَ
