I sat where the Prophet ﷺ sat and I ate what the Prophet ﷺ ate, and I did what the Prophet ﷺ did.  

أحمد:٤٤١حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ بَكْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ الطَّوِيلُ

عَنْ شَيْخٍ مِنْ ثَقِيفٍ ذَكَرَهُ حُمَيْدٌ بِصَلاحٍ ذَكَرَ أَنَّ عَمَّهُ أخْبَرَهُأَنَّهُ رَأَى عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ جَلَسَ عَلَى الْبَابِ الثَّانِي مِنْ مَسْجِدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَدَعَا بِكَتِفٍ فَتَعَرَّقَهَا ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ ثُمَّ قَالَ جَلَسْتُ مَجْلِسَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَأَكَلْتُ مَا أَكَلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَصَنَعْتُ مَا صَنَعَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ
