[Machine] She brought me a mule to assist her in her correspondence, so I told her, "If your masters wish, I will sell it to them for one sa' of barley and I will set you free." So she consulted her masters and they said, "We will not agree unless you stipulate loyalty to us." So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Buy her, for loyalty is for those who grant freedom."

[Machine] Barirah came seeking my help in her correspondence, so I said to her, "If you wish, I will write to them once and pay your dowry. Then, I will set you free." Barirah mentioned this to her guardians, and they said, "We agree, as long as you stipulate that the loyalty remains with us." She narrated the incident to the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , and he said, "Buy her, for indeed loyalty belongs to the one who sets them free." This wording is reported by Ahmad in his Musnad from Al-Harith bin Maskeen, recited upon him. I've also heard it from Ibn Al-Qasim who said: Malik narrated to me from Yahya bin Sa'eed, who narrated from 'Amrah, that Barirah came seeking Aisha's help, and this narration is mursal.
