Plague is a calamity which was inflicted on those who were before you, or upon Bani Isra'il. So when it has broken out in a land, don't run out of it, and when it has spread in a land, then don't enter it.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّ هَذَا الطَّاعُونَ رِجْزٌ سُلِّطَ عَلَى مَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَكُمْ أَوْ عَلَى بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ فَإِذَا كَانَ بِأَرْضٍ فَلاَ تَخْرُجُوا مِنْهَا فِرَارًا مِنْهُ وَإِذَا كَانَ بِأَرْضٍ فَلاَ تَدْخُلُوهَا

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "If there is a plague in a land and you are not in it, do not enter it. And if there is a plague in a land and you are in it, do not leave it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا كَانَ الطَّاعُونُ بِأَرْضٍ وَأَنْتُمْ لَيْسَ بِهَا فَلَا تَدْخُلُوهَا وَإِذَا كَانَ بِأَرْضٍ وَأَنْتُمْ بِهَا فَلَا تَخْرُجُوا مِنْهَا

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The plague is a punishment or a torment with which a nation is afflicted. So, if it happens in a land while you are there, do not leave it. And if you hear of its occurrence in a land, do not enter it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الطَّاعُونُ رِجْزٌ أَوْ عَذَابٌ عُذِّبَ بِهِ قَوْمٌ فَإِذَا وَقَعَ بِأَرْضٍ وَأَنْتُمْ بِهَا فَلَا تَخْرُجُوا مِنْهَا وَإِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ بِهِ بِأَرْضٍ فَلَا تَدْخُلُوا عَلَيْهِ

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "If there is a plague in a land and you are not in it, do not enter it. And if there is a plague in a land and you are in it, do not leave it."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِذَا كَانَ الْوَبَاءُ بِأَرْضٍ وَلَسْتَ بِهَا فَلا تَدْخُلْهَا وَإِذَا كَانَ بِأَرْضٍ وَأَنْتَ بِهَا فَلا تَخْرُجْ مِنْهَا

[AI] The plague was mentioned in the presence of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he said: "It is a punishment that afflicted those before you. So if it is in a land, do not enter it; and if it is there while you are in it, do not leave it."

ذُكِرَ الطَّاعُونُ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، فَقَالَ: «رِجْزٌ أُصِيبَ بِهِ مَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَكُمْ، فَإِذَا كَانَ بِأَرْضٍ فَلَا تَدْخُلُوهَا، وَإِذَا كَانَ بِهَا وَأَنْتُمْ بِهَا فَلَا تَخْرُجُوا مِنْهَا».

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, this plague is a punishment or a remainder of punishment that afflicted a people before you. So, if it occurs in a land while you are in it, do not leave it running away from it. And if you hear about it in a land, do not enter it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ هَذَا الطَّاعُونَ رِجْزٌ أَوْ بَقِيَّةٌ مِنْ عَذَابٍ عُذِّبَ بِهِ قَوْمٌ قَبْلَكُمْ فَإِذَا وَقَعَ بِأَرْضٍ وَأَنْتُمْ بِهَا فَلا تَخْرُجُوا مِنْهَا فِرَارًا مِنْهُ وَإِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ بِهِ فِي أَرْضٍ فَلا تَدْخُلُوا عَلَيْهِ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If the plague is in a land, do not enter it. And if it occurs in a land where you are, do not flee from it."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا كَانَ الطَّاعُونُبِأَرْضٍ فَلا تَهْبِطُوا عَلَيْهِ وَإِذَا كَانَ بِأَرْضٍ وَأَنْتُمْ بِهَا فَلا تَفِرُّوا مِنْهُ

[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he said, "Indeed, this pain is a punishment inflicted upon those who lived before you. So if it occurs in a place where you are not, do not go to it. And if it occurs in a place where you are, do not leave, fleeing from it." Then Umar ibn Al-Khattab returned to the people in that year.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ «إِنَّ هَذَا الْوَجَعَ عَذَابٌ عُذِّبَ بِهِ مَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَكُمْ فَإِذَا كَانَ بِأَرْضٍ لَسْتُمْ بِهَا فَلَا تَهْبِطُوا عَلَيْهِ وَإِذَا كَانَ بِأَرْضٍ وَأَنْتُمْ بِهَا فَلَا تَخْرُجُوا فِرَارًا مِنْهُ» فَرَجَعَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ بِالنَّاسِ ذَلِكَ الْعَامَ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ mentioned the plague and said, "Indeed, it is a punishment that struck those who came before you or a torment that afflicted those before you. So, when you hear of it being in a land, do not enter it, and when it has befallen in a land while you are there, do not leave, fleeing from it."

ذُكِرَ الطَّاعُونُ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «إِنَّهُ رِجْزٌ أَصَابَ مَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَكُمْ أَوْ عَذَابٌ أَصَابَ مَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَكُمْ فَإِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ بِهِ بِبَلَدٍ فَلَا تَدْخُلُوا عَلَيْهِ وَإِذَا وَقَعَ وَأَنْتُمْ بِبَلَدٍ فَلَا تَخْرُجُوا فِرَارًا مِنْهُ»

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ mentioned the plague and said, "It is a punishment that befell those who came before you. So when you hear of it in a land, do not enter it, and if it occurs while you are in a land, do not leave in fleeing from it."

ذُكِرَ الطَّاعُونُ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «إِنَّهُ رِجْسٌ أَصَابَ مَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَكُمْ فَإِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ بِهِ بِبَلَدٍ فَلَا تَدْخُلُوهَا عَلَيْهِ وَإِذَا وَقَعَ وَأَنْتُمْ بِبَلَدٍ فَلَا تَخْرُجُوا فِرَارًا مِنْهُ»

[Machine] The narration mentions the plague in the presence of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he said, "It is a punishment that befell those before you. If it occurs in a land while you are in it, do not leave it. And if it occurs in a land and you are outside it, do not enter it."

ذُكِرَ الطَّاعُونُ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «رِجْزٌ أَصَابَ مَنْ قَبْلَكُمْ إِذَا كَانَ بِأَرْضٍ وَأَنْتُمْ بِهَا فَلَا تَخْرُجْ مِنْهَا وَإِنْ كَانَ بِهَا فَلَا تَدْخُلْهَا»

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, this pain is a curse and a residue of a punishment that afflicted a people before you. So if it is in a land, do not enter it. And if it is in a land where you are, do not approach it." Meaning, the plague.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ هَذَا الْوَجَعَ رِجْسٌ وَبَقِيَّةُ عَذَابٍ عُذِّبَ فِيهِ قَوْمٌ قَبْلَكُمْ فَإِذَا كَانَ بِأَرْضٍ فَلَا تَدْخُلُوهَا وَإِذَا كَانَ بِأَرْضٍ وَأَنْتُمْ بِهَا فَلَا تَدْنُوا مِنْهُ» يَعْنِي الطَّاعُونَ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, this plague is a punishment and a torment inflicted upon those who came before you. So, if it happens in a land, do not leave it, and if it strikes a land that you are in, do not enter it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ هَذَا الطَّاعُونَ رِجْزٌ وَعَذَابٌ عُذِّبَ بِهِ مَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَكُمْ فَإِذَا كَانَ بِأَرْضٍ فَلَا تَخْرُجُوا مِنْهَا وَإِذَا وَقَعَ بِأَرْضٍ وَلَسْتُمْ بِهَا فَلَا تَدْخُلُوهَا»

[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ , he said: "If you hear of a plague in a land, do not enter it, and if a plague breaks out and you are in a land, do not leave it."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا سَمِعْتُمُ بِالطَّاعُونِ بِأَرْضٍ فَلَا تَدْخُلُوهَا وَإِذَا وَقَعَ وَأَنْتُمُ بِأَرْضٍ بِهَا فَلَا تَخْرُجُوا مِنْهَا»

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said: "Verily, this pain or this illness is a punishment with which those before you were punished. So, when it is on land that you are not present in, do not enter into it. And if it is in a land where you are present, do not flee from it." 'Umar then returned to the people that year.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ «إِنَّ هَذَا الْوَجَعَ أَوْ هَذَا السَّقَمَ عَذَابٌ عُذِّبَ بِهِ مَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَكُمْ فَإِذَا كَانَ بِأَرْضٍ لَسْتُمْ بِهَا فَلَا تَهْبِطُوا عَلَيْهِ وَإِذَا كَانَ بِأَرْضٍ وَأَنْتُمْ بِهَا فَلَا تَخْرُجُوا فِرَارًا مِنْهُ» قَالَ فَرَجَعَ عُمَرُ ؓ بِالنَّاسِ ذَلِكَ الْعَامَ

"إِنَّ هذا الطَّاعونَ رِجْزٌ نَزَلَ على من كان قبلكَم، فَإِذا سمعتم به في أَرض فلا تدخلوها وإِذا كان وأَنتم بها فلا تخرُجوا منْها".

"إِنَّ هذا الوجعَ بَقِيَّةُ عذاب عُذِّب به من كان قبلكم فإِذا وقع بأَرضٍ وأَنتم بها فلا تخرجوا منها، وإِذا وقع بأَرض فلا تَأتُوهَا".

"إِنَّ هذا السَّقم عَذَابٌ عُذِّبَ به من كان قبلكم، فإِذا كان بأَرضٍ لَسْتُمْ بها فلا تَهْبطوا عليه، وإِذا كان بأَرضِ وأَنتم بها فلا تخرجوا فِرارًا منه".
