[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ fought in a battle called "Bir Maunah". The Muslims saw a man from among them named Ghorath bin Al-Harith approaching the Prophet ﷺ with a sword, targeting his head. The Prophet ﷺ asked him, "What is preventing you from me?" He answered, "Allah." The sword fell from his hand, and the Prophet ﷺ picked it up and asked him the same question again. He replied, "Be as the best of those who take prisoners of war." The Prophet ﷺ asked, "Do you testify that there is no god but Allah?" He said, "No, but I give you my pledge that I will not fight against you, nor will I be with a people who fight against you." The Prophet ﷺ let him go, and he returned to his companions saying, "I have come to you from the best of people." When it was noon or afternoon, the Prophet ﷺ prayed the prayer of fear with them. The people were divided into two groups, one facing their enemy and the other group praying with the Prophet ﷺ . The Prophet ﷺ led the group who were with him in two units of prayer, then they left and took the position of the group facing their enemy. The Prophet ﷺ led the second group in two units of prayer. So, each group prayed two units of prayer, while the Prophet ﷺ prayed four units.

that Allah's Apostle ( ﷺ) happened to walk through the bazar coming from the side of 'Aliya and the people were on both his sides. There he found a dead lamb with very short ears. He took hold of his ear and said: Who amongst you would like to have this for a dirham? They said: We do not like to have it even for less than that as it is of no use to us. He said: Do you wish to have it (free of any cost)? They said: By Allah, even if it were alive (we would not have liked to possess that), for there is defect in it as its ear is very short; now it is dead also.

[Machine] We went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as pilgrims, with no intention except for Hajj. When we reached Sarif, Aisha menstruated. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon her while she was crying and asked, "Why are you crying?" She said, "O Messenger of Allah, I have been harmed!" He said, "Indeed, you are one of the daughters of Adam, and what afflicts them may afflict you." He added, "We have already arrived at the Kaaba in four days or nights of Dhul-Hijjah, then we performed Tawaf around the Kaaba and Sa'i between Safa and Marwa. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded us and we performed all the rituals of Hajj except for the prohibited actions. So we discussed among ourselves and said, "We went out as pilgrims with no intention except for Hajj, and we don't intend anything else. Until there was no more than four days or nights between us and Arafat, so we went out to Arafat. Our women were experiencing discharge like that of men. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was informed of this and he stood up to deliver a sermon, saying, "Indeed, the Umrah is included in the Hajj. If I had known beforehand what I came to know later, I would not have brought the Hadi (sacrificial animal) with me, and if there was no Hadi, I would have assumed Ihram for Umrah." Therefore, whoever does not have a Hadi with him should perform Tahlil (which refers to assuming Ihram for Hajj only by starting the Talbiyah at Meeqat and then remaining in Ihram till the end of Hajj). Suraqa bin Malik bin Ju'shum stood up and asked, "O Messenger of Allah, inform us about those who seem to have been born today, are they considered as if they were born today or forever?" He replied, "No, they are considered as if they were born forever." He then said, "We went to Arafat and then left it. Aisha said to the Messenger of Allah, "I find that I have assumed Ihram without my intention." He said, "You have what they have." She then said, "O Messenger of Allah, I feel something in myself." So he stopped at the highest point of Makkah and commanded her brother Abdullah bin Abu Bakr to cover her until she reached the place of Tan'im. Then she performed the rituals of Umrah and returned to the Prophet ﷺ .

[Machine] We accompanied the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the morning of the fourth day of Dhul-Hijjah, all prepared for the pilgrimage. The Prophet ﷺ commanded us to perform Tawaf around the Kaaba and pray two Rak'ahs, then we performed Sa'y between Safa and Marwa. After that, he commanded us to shorten our hair. We asked him, "O Messenger of Allah, what does 'hala' mean?" He replied, "It means that which is permissible for men from women and perfume." So, the women covered themselves with their garments and their bangles were shining. Khalf was informed that some of them were saying, "Let one of us go to Mina and he will mention him dripping with semen." So, he gave a sermon praising and thanking Allah, then he said, "If I had known what I know now, I would not have brought the sacrificial animals until I performed the Hajj. And if I had not brought the sacrificial animals, I would have released myself from the obligation. So, take your rituals now." The people then got up to perform their rituals. When it was the Day of Tarwiyah (8th of Dhul-Hijjah) and they wanted to head towards Mina, they proclaimed the sanctity of Hajj. So, whoever found a Hadi (sacrificial animal) brought it, and whoever did not find a sacrificial animal fasted. He (the Prophet) also made a concession for them regarding their sacrifices, allowing them to share in them with seven other people for a goat, and with seven other people for a cow. Their Tawaf and Sa'y were for both Hajj and 'Umrah, and they performed them both in one go.

However, when we reached Makkah, it was announced, "Those among you who did not bring a sacrificial animal should now enter the state of ihram, and those who brought a sacrificial animal should carry out its rituals." People then started performing Umrah, except for those who had brought their sacrificial animals. The Prophet ﷺ remained with a hundred camels and Ali arrived from Yemen. The Prophet ﷺ asked him, "With what intention have you entered the state of ihram?" Ali replied, "O Allah, I have entered the state of ihram with the same intention with which Your Prophet ﷺ has entered." [Machine] He said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The Antichrist will emerge during a period of confusion in religion and ignorance in knowledge. He will have forty nights that are equivalent to one year, one night equivalent to a month, and one night equivalent to a week. The rest of his days will be like your days. He will have a donkey on which he will ride, its ear to its ear measuring forty cubits. He will say to the people, 'I am your Lord,' even though he is blind in one eye. Indeed, your Lord is not one-eyed, and it is written between his eyes that he is a disbeliever (Kafir). Every believer will read it, literate or illiterate. There will not be any water or well left except for the cities of Madinah and Makkah, which Allah has made forbidden for him. The angels will stand guarding their gates, and with him will be mountains of bread. The people will be in great distress, except those who follow him. With him, there will be two rivers. I know which is Paradise and which is Hell. Whoever is entered into the one named Paradise will actually be in Hell, and whoever is entered into the one named Hell will actually be in Paradise." He said, "Allah will send devils with him, who will speak to the people. With him, there will be a great trial. He will command the sky, and it will rain upon the people, and he will kill a person, then bring him back to life before the people's eyes. He will not have control over any people other than his own. He will say, 'O people, why don't you come out to the deceitful liar?' They will say, 'This is a genie man,' and they will set out towards him. Suddenly, they will find themselves with Jesus, the son of Mary. The prayer will be established, and it will be said to him, 'Come forward, O Spirit of Allah.' He will reply, 'Let your Imam come forward and lead you in prayer.' After performing the morning prayer, they will go towards the Antichrist. When the Antichrist sees Jesus, he will start melting like salt in water, and he will try to flee from him. Jesus will pursue and kill him until even a tree or a stone will call out, 'O Spirit of Allah, here is a Jew hiding behind me, so come and kill him.'"

[Machine] He ﷺ said, "A Jewish woman from the city gave birth to a baby boy with a squint in his eye and protruding eyes. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ felt pity, fearing that he might be the Dajjal. He went to find him and found him under a palm tree playing, and his mother called him and said, 'O Abdullah, this is Abu Al-Qasim who has come, so go out to him.' He went out of the palm tree, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, 'What is wrong with her? May Allah have mercy on her! If she had left him, it would have been clear.' Then he asked, 'O son of a hunter, what do you see?' He replied, 'I see truth and falsehood, and I see a throne on water.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'He has been tested.' Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, 'Do you bear witness that I am the Messenger of Allah?' He replied, 'Do you bear witness that I am the Messenger of Allah?' So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'I believe in Allah and His Messengers,' and he let him go. Then he came to him a second or third time, and with him were Abu Bakr and Umar bin Al-Khattab, among a group of Muhajireen and Ansar, and I was with him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ hurried ahead of us, hoping to hear something from his speech and know whether he was the Dajjal or not. But his mother got ahead of us and said, 'O Abdullah, this is Abu Al-Qasim who has come.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'What is wrong with her? May Allah have mercy on her! Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, 'O son of a hunter, we have hidden something for you, so what is it?' He replied, 'Ad-Dukh, Ad-Dukh.' So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, 'Go away, go away.' Umar bin Al-Khattab said, 'O Messenger of Allah, give me permission to kill him.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'If he is he (the Dajjal), you are not his companion, for his companion will be 'Isa ibn Maryam. If he is not he (the Dajjal), then it is not permissible for you to kill a man from the people of the covenant.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ remained anxious, fearing that he might be the Dajjal.

[Machine] I heard Jabir saying, "Muadh used to pray with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , then he would return and lead his people in prayer. One night, he led them in the Isha prayer and recited Surah Al-Baqarah. A man made a prolonged bow and then left. Muadh criticized him for that, and this incident was conveyed to the Prophet ﷺ . He said, "Ruination, ruination, or he said, 'misguidance, misguidance, misguidance.' Then he ordered him to recite two middle Surahs from Al-Mufassal." Umar said, "I do not remember which two Surahs they were."
