[Machine] We enjoyed during the time of the Prophet Mohammad, ﷺ , the pleasures of performing Hajj and having wives. Hamad also said the pleasure of Hajj and the pleasure of women. But when Umar forbade us from them, we stopped.  

أحمد:١٤٩١٦ – حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ زَيْدٍ وَعَاصِمٌ الْأَحْوَلُ عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ

تَمَتَّعْنَا عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مُتْعَتَيْنِ الْحَجَّ وَالنِّسَاءَ وَقَدْ قَالَ حَمَّادٌ أَيْضًا مُتْعَةَ الْحَجِّ وَمُتْعَةَ النِّسَاءِ فَلَمَّا كَانَ عُمَرُ نَهَانَا عَنْهُمَا فَانْتَهَيْنَا
