[Machine] I was taught a verse from the Quran that a man had never asked me about before, so I do not know if people know it and have not asked about it, or if they are unaware of it and therefore do not ask about it. Then he suddenly woke up and started speaking to us, so when he got up, we recited together that we should not ask him about it. I said to myself that I would ask him about it tomorrow, so when the next day came, I said to Ibn Abbas, "Did you mention yesterday that a man had never asked you about a verse from the Quran? So you do not know if people know it and have not asked about it, or if they are unaware of it and therefore do not ask about it?" So I said to him, "Tell me about it and the ones you recited before it." He said, "Yes, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to the Quraysh, 'O People of Quraysh, none is worshipped besides Allah is better, and Quraysh knew that the Christians worshiped Jesus son of Mary, and what do you say about Muhammad?' They said, 'O Muhammad, do you claim that Jesus was a prophet and a righteous slave of Allah? If you are truthful, then certainly their gods are as you say.' So Allah revealed, 'And when the son of Mary was presented as an example, immediately your people laughed aloud....' (Quran 43:57). I said, 'What did they laugh at?' He said, 'They whispered (in disbelief). And indeed, it is knowledge of the Hour... ' (Quran 43:61). He said, 'It is the exit of Jesus son of Maryﷺ before the Day of Resurrection.'"

[Machine] While the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was sitting in the courtyard of his house in Mecca, Uthman ibn Mazh'un passed by. He approached the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he said to him, "Why don't you sit?" He said, "Yes, I will sit." So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sat facing him. While he was talking to him, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ raised his gaze to the sky and then looked at it for a while. He then lowered his gaze until he placed it on his right in the ground. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ shifted his position from his companion Uthman to where he had placed his gaze, and he lowered his head as if he was listening carefully to what was being said to him. Ibn Mazh'un looked, and when he had fulfilled his need and heard what he was being told, the gaze of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ turned towards the sky again as he had done before. He followed the gaze until it disappeared into the sky, then he turned to Uthman in his initial position and said, "O Muhammad, where was I when I used to sit with you and come to you in the morning and see you doing what you did?" He said, "What did you see me do?" He said, "I saw you raise your gaze to the sky with your eyes and then you placed it where you had placed it on your right, and you turned towards it and left me. Then, you started to lower your head as if you were trying to understand something being said to you." He said, "And did you notice that?" Uthman said, "Yes." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to me suddenly while you were sitting." He said, "Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say anything to you?" He said, "Yes." He asked, "What did he say?" He said, "{Indeed, Allah orders justice and good conduct and giving to relatives and forbids immorality and bad conduct and oppression. He admonishes you that perhaps you will be reminded.}" [Surah An-Nahl: 90]. Uthman said, "That is when faith settled in my heart and I loved Muhammad."

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Iman is to believe in Allah, the Last Day, the angels, the Book, the Prophets, and to believe in life after death and in Paradise and Hell, and in the Day of Judgment and the Balance, and to believe in fate, both its good and its evil." He said: "If I do that, have I believed?" He said: "If you do that, you have believed." He said: "O Messenger of Allah, tell me about Ihsan (excellence)." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Ihsan is to worship Allah as if you see Him, and if you cannot see Him, then know that He sees you." He said: "O Messenger of Allah, tell me about the Hour (i.e. Day of Judgment)." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The one who is asked about it is no more knowledgeable about it than the one who is asking, but I will inform you of its signs. When you see barefoot, naked, poor shepherds competing in constructing tall buildings, then that is one of the signs of the Hour." He said: "O Messenger of Allah, who are the barefoot, naked, poor shepherds?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The Arabs."

"Shall I not tell you of the best of the people in status?" We said: "Yes. O Messenger of Allah!" He said: "A man who rides his horse in the cause of Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, until he dies or is killed. Shall I not tell you of the one who comes after him (in status)?" We said: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah!" He said; "A man who withdraws to a mountain pass and establishes Salah, and pays Zakah, and keeps away from the evil of people. Shall I not tell you of the worst of people?" We said: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah!" He said: "The one who asks for the sake of Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, but does not give (when he is asked) for His sake," (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2569)

[Machine] So he said, "Oh Abu Abbas, what is this garment?" He said, "And what is it?" He said, "This is Istabraq." He said, "By Allah, I didn't know about it, and I don't think that the Prophet ﷺ forbade it except out of arrogance and pride. And praise be to Allah, we are not such people." He said, "Then what are these images in the camera?" He said, "Don't you see that we burned them with fire?" So when the conqueror left, he said, "Take off this garment from me and cut the heads of these statues." They said, "Oh Abu Abbas, if you had taken them to the market, you could have sold them along with the heads." He said, "No." So he ordered the cutting of their heads.

[Machine] Indeed, when your master prostrates, he places his forehead, arms, and chest on the ground. Ibn Abbas asked him, "What motivates you to do what you do?" He replied, "Humility." He said, "This is the posture of a dog. I saw the Prophetﷺ when he prostrated, the whiteness of his armpits could be seen."
