[Machine] Indeed, when your master prostrates, he places his forehead, arms, and chest on the ground. Ibn Abbas asked him, "What motivates you to do what you do?" He replied, "Humility." He said, "This is the posture of a dog. I saw the Prophetﷺ when he prostrated, the whiteness of his armpits could be seen."  

أحمد:٢٩٣٣حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ وَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فَقَالَ

إِنَّ مَوْلاكَ إِذَا سَجَدَ وَضَعَ جَبْهَتَهُ وَذِرَاعَيْهِ وَصَدْرَهُ بِالْأَرْضِ فَقَالَ لَهُ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ مَا يَحْمِلُكَ عَلَى مَا تَصْنَعُ؟ قَالَ التَّوَاضُعُ قَالَ هَكَذَا رِبْضَةُ الْكَلْبِ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ إِذَا سَجَدَ رُئِيَ بَيَاضُ إِبْطَيْهِ
