[Machine] Allah commanded His Prophet ﷺ to perform fifty prayers. He asked his Lord ﷻ to reduce them, and so it was made five prayers.  

أحمد:٢٨٩١حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُصْمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

فَرَضَ اللهُ ﷻ عَلَى نَبِيِّهِ ﷺ الصَّلاةَ خَمْسِينَ صَلاةً فَسَأَلَ رَبَّهُ ﷻ فَجَعَلَهَا خَمْسَ صَلَوَاتٍ

[Machine] I heard Ibn Abbas say, "Fifty prayers were initially obligated upon your Prophet ﷺ, but he asked his Lord, the Mighty and Majestic, who made them five."
