I commanded her to go to them and inform them that I wanted to buy her and then free her. They said, 'If you give us her loyalty, we will sell her to you.' So, I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and he said, 'Buy her and then free her because loyalty belongs to the one who frees.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then entered upon me while the pot was boiling with meat, and he asked me, 'Where did you get this?' I said, 'Barirah gifted it to us, and I believe in it as a truth upon her.' He said, 'This is charity for Barirah, and we have a gift.' She (Aisha) said, 'And she was under someone's custody, but when he freed her, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to her, 'You have the choice. If you wish to stay under this man, you may, and if you wish to part from him, you may.'"

Then Bilal called me for prayer, and I did not want to withhold the people, so I prayed those two units of prayer.' Then I returned and informed Muawiyah. Muawiyah said to him, 'Did he not say that he had prayed them?' Ibn Zubayr replied, 'We should not leave them.' Muawiyah said, 'You will always be a dissenter.'"

When the Prophet ﷺ uttered taslim, he used to say: "O Allah, You are As-Salam, and from you is As-Salam. You are blessed, O One of Magnificence and Generosity." (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1512)

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to frequently say before his death, "SubhanAllah wa bihamdihi, astaghfirullah wa atubu ilayhi." I said, "O Messenger of Allah, you supplicate with a supplication that you did not use to supplicate with before today." He said, "Indeed, my Lord has informed me that I will see a sign in my Ummah, and when I see that sign, I should say 'SubhanAllah wa bihamdihi' and seek forgiveness from Him. Indeed, I have seen that sign when the victory of Allah and the conquest comes, and you see the people entering the religion of Allah in multitudes." [Surah An-Nasr: 2]

[Machine] Abu Huraira used to say, "Whoever wakes up in a state of janabah (major ritual impurity), then fasting is not valid for him." Marwan ibn al-Hakam sent me and another man to Aisha and Umm Salamah, asking them about waking up in a state of janabah in Ramadan before taking a ritual bath. One of them said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to wake up in a state of janabah, then he would take a bath and observe his fasting for the day." The other one said, "He used to wake up in a state of janabah without having a wet dream, then he would complete his fasting." They both returned and informed Marwan about it. He said to Abdur-Rahman, "Inform Abu Huraira about what they said." Abu Huraira said, "That is what I used to think and believe." Marwan said, "You give fatwa (religious rulings) based on your thinking and beliefs."
