الزهد لأحمد:٩٤٣حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنِي الْحَسَنُ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ سُوَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ قَالَ خَطَبَ سُلَيْمَانُ إِلَى هَانِئِ بْنِ كُلْثُومٍ ابْنَتَهُ عَلَى ابْنِهِ أَيُّوبَ وَهُوَ وَلِيُّ عَهْدٍ فَأَبَى أَنْ يُزَوِّجَهُ ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ فَدَعَا ابْنَ عَمٍّ لَهُ فَزَوَّجَهُ فَقَالَ

سُلَيْمَانُ أَمَا لَوْ أَرَادَ الدُّنْيَا لَزَوَّجَنَا
