[Machine] Saalih bin Saad used to say, "Indeed, I am a stranger among you." Someone would ask him, "Why?" and he would reply, "My companions have passed away, and I am left among you as a stranger."  

الزهد لأحمد:١٠٨٧حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ قَالَ

كَانَ سَهْلُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ يَقُولُ إِنِّي فِيكُمْ غَرِيبٌ فَيَقُولُ لَهُ لِمَ؟ فَيَقُولُ ذَهَبَ أَصْحَابِي وَالَّذِي كُنْتُ أَعْرِفُ وَبَقِيتُ فِيكُمْ غَرِيبًا
