'A'isha reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to call her companions to her who were playing with dolls."

الأدب المفرد:١٢٩٩ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ هِشَامٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يُسَرِّبُ إِلَيَّ صَوَاحِبِي يَلْعَبْنَ بِاللَّعِبِ الْبَنَاتِ الصِّغَارِ
