Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet ﷺ said, "When one of you strikes his servant, let him avoid his face."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا ضَرَبَ أَحَدُكُمْ خَادِمَهُ فَلْيَجْتَنِبِ الْوَجْهَ

Jabir said, "The Prophet ﷺ passed by an animal which had been branded and its nostrils were smoking. The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Allah curses any person who does this. No one should mark the face nor strike it.'"

عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ مَرَّ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِدَابَّةٍ قَدْ وُسِمَ يُدَخِّنُ مَنْخِرَاهُ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لَعَنَ اللَّهُ مَنْ فَعَلَ هَذَا لاَ يَسِمَنَّ أَحَدٌ الْوَجْهَ وَلاَ يَضْرِبَنَّهُ
