I came to the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) at the expedition to Tabuk when he was in a small skin tent. I gave him a salutation and he returned it, saying: come in. I asked : the whole of me Messenger of Allah? He replied : The whole of you. So I entered.

أبو داود:٥٠٠٠ – حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْعَلاَءِ عَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ الْخَوْلاَنِيِّ عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ الأَشْجَعِيِّ قَالَ

أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكَ وَهُوَ فِي قُبَّةٍ مِنْ أَدَمٍ فَسَلَّمْتُ فَرَدَّ وَقَالَ ادْخُلْ فَقُلْتُ أَكُلِّي يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ كُلُّكَ فَدَخَلْتُ
