The Prophet ﷺ said: If anyone prays over the dead in the mosque, there is nothing on him.
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَى جَنَازَةٍ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَلاَ شَىْءَ عَلَيْهِ

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Whoever offers the funeral prayer in the mosque will have nothing (i.e., no reward).’”
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَى جِنَازَةٍ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَلَيْسَ لَهُ شَىْءٌ
