‘Abd Al Rahman bin Safwan said “I asked ‘Umar bin Al Khattab How did the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ do when he entered the Ka’bah? He said “He offered two rak’ahs of prayer.”
قُلْتُ لِعُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ كَيْفَ صَنَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ حِينَ دَخَلَ الْكَعْبَةَ قَالَ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ

"عَن عبد الله بن صفوان قال: قلت لعمر: كيف صنع النبى ﷺ حين دخلَ الكعبة فقال: صَلَّى ركعتين".
