‘Abd Al Rahman bin Safwan said “I asked ‘Umar bin Al Khattab How did the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ do when he entered the Ka’bah? He said “He offered two rak’ahs of prayer.”

أبو داود:٢٠٢٦ – حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ صَفْوَانَ قَالَ

قُلْتُ لِعُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ كَيْفَ صَنَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ حِينَ دَخَلَ الْكَعْبَةَ قَالَ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ
