Abu Abdullah Al-Rahman said, "My father said that Hammad bin Khalid was a Hafiz (memorizer of the Quran), and he used to teach us. He used to sew, and I and Yahya bin Ma'in would write from him."

[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet, ﷺ , he said: "Indeed, the one who recites the Quran smoothly and easily is like the one who gives charity easily, and the one who recites the Quran loudly is like the one who publicly gives charity."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ الْمُسِرَّ بِالْقُرْآنِ كَالْمُسِرِّ بِالصَّدَقَةِ وَالْجَاهِرَ بِالْقُرْآنِ كَالْجَاهِرِ بِالصَّدَقَةِ»

أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ صَلَوَاتُ اللهِ عَلَيْهِ قَالَ «إِنَّ الَّذِي يُسِرُّ بِالْقُرْآنِ كَالَّذِي يُسِرُّ بِالصَّدَقَةِ وَالَّذِي يَجْهَرُ بِالْقُرْآنِ كَالَّذِي يَجْهَرُ بِالصَّدَقَةِ»
