"One day, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us in Salat Al-Asr while it was still daytime. Then he stood to give us a Khutbah. He did not leave anything that would happen until the Hour of Judgement except that he informed us about it. Whoever remembered it remembered it, and whoever forgot it forgot it. Among what he said was: 'Indeed the world is green and sweet, and indeed Allah has left you to remain to see how you behave. So beware of the world, and beware of the women.' And among what he said was: 'The awe(status) of people should not prevent a man from saying the truth when he knows it."'He(one of the narrators) said: "Abu Sa'eed wept, then he said: 'By Allah! We have seen things and we feared."' "And among what he said in it, was : 'Indeed, for every treacherous person there shall be a banner erected on The Day Of Resurrection in proportion to his treachery. And there is no treachery greater than the treachery of a leader to the masses' whose banner shall be positioned at his buttocks.' And among what we remember from that day is: 'Behold! Indeed the children of Adam were created in various classes. Among them is he who was born a believer, lives as a believer, and dies a believer. Among them, is he who was born a disbeliever, lives as a disbeliever, and dies a disbeliever. Among them, is he who was born a believer, lives as a believer, and dies a disbeliever. Among them, is he who was born a disbeliever, lives as a disbeliever, and dies a believer. Behold! Among them is the slow to get angry, the quick to calm. Among them is the quick anger and the quick to calm, so this is with that. Behold! Among them is the quick get angry and the slow to calm, and indeed the best of them is the slow to get angry and the quick to calm, and the worst of them is the quick get angry and the slow to calm. Behold! Among them is he who pays back well and collects well. Among them is he who is bad with paying back and good when collecting. Among them is he who pays back well and is bad with collecting, so this is with that. Behold! Among them is he who is bad with paying back and bad with collecting. Indeed the best of them is the one who is good in paying back and good in collecting. And the worst of them is the one who is bad with paying back and bad with collecting. Behold! Anger is an ember in the heart of the son of Adam, as you see it in the redness of his eyes and the bulge of his jugular veins. So whoever senses something from that, then let him cling to the ground."' He said: "So we began turning towards the sun to see if anything of it remained(meaning whether it has set or not). So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Behold! The world, in relation to what has passed of it, shall not remain except as what remains of this day of yours, in relation to what has passed of it."'

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed Asr prayer with us one day while the sun was still up, then he stood up and delivered a sermon until the sun set. He did not leave out anything that will occur until the Day of Judgment; he informed those who remembered and those who forgot, saying, "O people, indeed this world is green and sweet, and indeed Allah will replace you in it, so look at how you will act. So fear this world and fear women. Surely, every betrayer will have a banner on the Day of Judgment according to the extent of his betrayal. It will be raised at his side and with it, he will be judged. And there is no betrayer greater than a public ruler." Then he mentioned good manners and said, "A man can be quick-tempered and hasty in decisions, so this is his character. And a man can be patient in decision-making, so this is his character. The best of them are those who are patient in temperament and quick in decision-making, and the worst of them are those who are quick-tempered and slow in decision-making." He then said, "Indeed, anger is a fire in the heart of the son of Adam, have you not seen the reddening of his eyes and the trembling of his veins? So when one of you finds that, then let him sit down or, he said, let him lie down on the ground." He then mentioned desires and said, "A man can have good desires but poor judgment, so this is his character. And a man can have good judgment but poor desires, so this is his character. The best of them are those with good desires and good judgment, and the worst of them are those with poor desires and poor judgment." He then said in his narration, "And there is nothing better than a word of justice that is spoken in the presence of an oppressive ruler, so do not let the fear of people prevent any of you from speaking the truth when he sees it or witnesses it." Abu Sa'eed then wept and said, "By Allah, we were prevented from doing that." He said, "And indeed, you will complete seventy nations, you are the best and most honorable of them in the sight of Allah." Then the sun began to decline towards its setting, and he said, "Indeed, whatever is left from this world is equivalent to what has passed of your day."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ delivered a sermon after Asr prayer to the congregation of Maghribain, which was kept and memorized by some and forgotten by others. He praised Allah and thanked Him. He said, "Verily, this world is green and sweet, and Allah has made you its successors to see how you will act. So beware of the world and beware of women. Indeed, the children of Adam are created in different categories. Some are born believers, live as believers, and die as believers. Some are born non-believers, live as non-believers, and die as non-believers. Some are born believers, live as believers, and die as non-believers. Some are born non-believers, live as non-believers, and die as believers. Indeed, anger is a burning ember in the heart of the son of Adam; you can see it in the redness of his eyes and the bulging of his veins. So if any of you finds something of that, let him find refuge in the earth. Indeed, the best of men are slow to anger and quick to be appeased, and the most evil of men are quick to anger and slow to be appeased. When a man is slow to anger, he seldom commits any vice, and when he is quick to anger, he seldom does any good. Verily, the best of merchants are those who have good judgment in their transactions, and the worst of merchants are those who have poor judgment in their transactions. When a man has good judgment but poor luck, or poor judgment but good luck, it is because of his choice. Indeed, every traitor will have a banner on the Day of Judgment according to the extent of his treachery. Indeed, the greatest treachery is the treachery of a general ruler. Verily, a man's status among the people should not prevent him from speaking the truth when he knows it. Indeed, the best form of jihad is speaking a word of truth to an unjust ruler." When he was at the western horizon, he said, "Indeed, what remains of this world compared to what has passed is like what remains of your day compared to what has passed of it."
