[Machine] Indeed, Mu'adh was a nation obedient to Allah, upright. It was said to him, "O Abu Abdur Rahman, indeed Ibrahim was a nation obedient to Allah, upright." He said, "Did you hear me mention Ibrahim?" Then he said, "Indeed, Mu'adh was a nation obedient to Allah, upright." He said, "We used to compare Mu'adh to Ibrahim."  

الطبراني:٩٩٤٥حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ ثنا هُشَيْمٌ عَنْ مُجَالِدٍ وَزَكَرِيَّا عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ

إِنَّ مُعَاذًا كَانَ أُمَّةً قَانِتًا لِلَّهِ حَنِيفًا قِيلَ لَهُ يَا أَبَا عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ {إِنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ كَانَ أُمَّةً قَانِتًا لِلَّهِ حَنِيفًا} قَالَ قَالَ أَسَمِعْتُمُونِي ذَكَرْتُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ثُمَّ قَالَ إِنَّ مُعَاذًا كَانَ أُمَّةً قَانِتًا لِلَّهِ حَنِيفًا قَالَ كُنَّا نُشَبِّهُ مُعَاذًا بِإِبْرَاهِيمَ ﷺ
