عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى بْنُ هِلَالٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ، عَنْ وَاثِلَةَ

tabarani:18518 – Abū Ḥanīfah Muḥammad b. Ḥanīfah al-Wāsiṭī > ʿAmmī Aḥmad b. Muḥammad b. Māhān b. Abū Ḥanīfah from my father > Ṭalḥah b. Zayd > Yūnus b. Yazīd > al-Zuhrī > ʿAbd al-Aʿlá b. Hilāl al-Ḥimṣī > Wāthilah b. al-Asqaʿ

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "The most despicable of people is the one who falsely claims to be someone's father, or lies about the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , or lies about what he has seen."  

الطبراني:١٨٥١٨ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَنِيفَةَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَنِيفَةَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ قَالَ ثنا عَمِّي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَاهَانَ بْنِ أَبِي حَنِيفَةَ ثنا أَبِي ثنا طَلْحَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى بْنِ هِلَالٍ الْحِمْصِيِّ عَنْ وَاثِلَةَ بْنِ الْأَسْقَعِ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ أَفْرَى الْفِرَى مَنِ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ أَوْ كَذَبَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَوْ كَذَبَ عَلَى عَيْنَيْهِ»
