[Machine] “Mu‘āwiyah ibn Abī Sufyān died with four nights having passed of Rajab in the year 60.” Ibn Kathīr said: “His age was in his seventy-some years, up to eighty.”

الطبراني:١٦٧٩٠حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنْبَاعِ رَوْحُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ قَالَ

«تُوُفِّيَ مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ لِأَرْبَعِ لَيَالٍ خَلَوْنَ مِنْ رَجَبٍ سَنَةَ سِتِّينَ» قَالَ ابْنُ كَثِيرٍ «وَسِنُّهُ بِضْعٌ وَسَبْعُونَ إِلَى الثَّمَانِينَ»
