[Machine] That the Prophet ﷺ sent him as a truthful one to his people, and when he took their charity, it coincided with the death of the Prophet ﷺ .  

الطبراني:١٤٣٠٩ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنُ مَنْدَهْ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ الْكَرْمَانِيُّ ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ الزِّبْرِقَانِ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «بَعَثَهُ مُصَدِّقًا إِلَى قَوْمِهِ فَلَمَّا أَخَذَ صَدَقَاتِهِمْ وَافَقَ ذَلِكَ وَفَاةَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ»
