[Machine] I heard my father say, "Adi ibn Hatim Al-Ta'i was known as Abu Tarif and he passed away in Al-Kufa during the time of Al-Mukhtar in the year sixty-eight."  

الطبراني:١٤٢٦٩حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَمَّالُ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يَقُولُ «عَدِيُّ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ الطَّائِيُّ يُكْنَى أَبَا طَرِيفٍ تُوُفِّيَ بِالْكُوفَةِ زَمَنَ الْمُخْتَارِ سَنَةَ ثَمَانٍ وَسِتِّينَ»
